Nice little Pho place. I had the Spicy Beef Soup. It has noodles, meatballs, tripe & steak. Exactly what I needed after being unwell last month! The spice level was on point! I’d say it was a bit spicier than hot so plan accordingly. Had some hot tea that paired nicely. While they don’t bring the basil and bean sprouts separately, there was plenty in my soup and I could taste the basil, very nice. They bring lime and jalapeños separately. I will definitely be back. I’m glad I tried this place out for myself, I almost didn’t because of the reviews. Oh, and there was a couple who’s first time was today as well and when I went to pay their bowls were empty like mine and I heard them say they’d be back as well! I’m excited to try other entrees. Thank you!

Lovely place, I think the older man and woman are the owners? They were very great to interact with and packaged my to go food very nicely!! Not many places poke a hole for your egg roll box so it doesn’t get soggy. 🙂
Got the #35 pho with tripe, beef, meatball.. A bit smaller portion than expected but perfect for a single meal. They do not have chili oil or crisp, only Sriracha and hoisin which is packed. The spring roll is for sure handmade and absolutely delicious, I wish the sauce containers were bigger! Overall seems like a solid place to try out for the cost.

This place is a great small business restaurant. The slightly extended wait times are worth it! The food was very well made and had depths of flavor. When we came there was only one man manning the restaurant and the quality was still very good, I’m impressed!

I didn’t know this place existed! It’s right next to Dollar General on Madison, in Greenwood. It’s a quiet atmosphere, jazz music playing, a calm vibe. I got the steak, shrimp. And chicken Pho with veggies! It was actually pretty good. The broth was also nice and hot, very good! I also ordered the mango smoothie which was delicious as well. It’s only the owner so he was the one who prepared the food. Did not take long either. Bean sprouts and mint came in the pho as well. Nice, small shop when you don’t want too much noise.

I was planning on taking my friend out to Egg Roll Number 1 before we went to class, but realized that it was that time of the day where they close down for a bit before reopening for dinner. We decided to stop by here instead, and wow! The food was great, the service provided by who I presume to be the owner was good, and it was a peaceful & clean environment. Def gonna take more people here & I highly recommend it. 🙂

More than just pho, they serve incredibly tasty food for a great price! A variety of southeast Asian dishes. Clean place. Great service from the family who runs the restaurant.

We came in specifically to order take out pho. We ordered steak and meatball pho, brisket pho, and fried rice. The rice was good but the pho had no flavor. Thank goodness we were coming home so we could doctor it up with bouillon and salt. My meatball steak pho only had meatballs and no steak. The inside was fine. There were some dirty tables. A little strange to see a cot behind the register. He said it would be ready in 15-20 but it was at least a half hour. We won’t be back.

Came here for dinner. Don’t be fooled by the interior pictures. There were spider webs everywhere and felt disgusted, so we had to move tables. I understand that they are low staffed and needed help, but please train the workers properly. One of the workers was bringing our pho, and he had his thumbs inside the bowl, so when the soup was moving, it was touching his thumbs. When he got to our table, he placed the bowl on top by my chopsticks. We asked for an extra bowl, and when he brought it, the bowl wasn’t clean. Never checked up on us or brought us the check, so I had to go up to pay. I’m also used to pho restaurants bringing out the mint leaves and bean sprouts separately, but here, everything was inside the pho already. Definitely will not be back

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience, check out Pho Lai! I went in expecting a standard Vietnamese restaurant for some pho, but was so happy to find out it’s a Burmese and Vietnamese fusion spot. Being part Burmese, this was a real treat and I loved seeing Burmese options alongside the Vietnamese classics. The Thai tea was spot on, and my husband devoured his chicken biriyani. We also had the samosas as an appetizer – they were tiny but mighty in flavor! I’ll definitely be returning to try more of the Burmese side of the menu.
