We were looking for some breakfast, and somehow ended up in The Landings… We decided to give this place a try. The decor is bright, and fits in nicely with all the other places in this shopping center. There is a chalkboard wall where the kids can sit and draw. It seems very clean. They offer discounts for all sorts of different things, liking them on Facebook, giving them your email address, military, etc. Happy Hour is from 3-5pm and offer all dessert crepes 25% off. And everyday offers a specific discount for the day. The service left something to be desired. They only had one “crepe-ist” working the “crepe-er”, so it took quite a while for our food to be prepared, fortunately the atmosphere was nice, and our baby was behaving. My wife said that it would be nice to sip on a latte as we wait, but this place doesn’t have lattes. The crepes themselves are pretty good. I had the “south of the border” and I really liked it. My wife got the “cloud 9” and referred to it as “an amateur attempt” at dessert crepe making. She would know much better than I, but she followed up her statement with “you can’t really go wrong with Nutella though”. We also had the side fruit salad, which tasted like the fruit never ripened, and the side tomato bisque soup, which tasted like pizza. All in all, I’d say the food is decent, but don’t come here expecting the best crepe experience of your life.
