Authentic Northern Italian comfort food! We started with the polenta and gorgonzola, which was fresh, creamy, and a perfect introduction to traditional mountain cuisine.
The pasta dishes were the highlight:
• Tagliatelle with Porcini: Deep, earthy flavors.
• Tagliatelle with Truffle Cream: Rich, aromatic, and perfectly executed.
We tried the house red wine. It was served in a white bowl. > A Quick Tip: While unconventional today, serving wine in ceramic bowls (known as scodelle) is actually an old-school peasant tradition in parts of Northern Italy and France. It’s a rustic nod to history, though it definitely feels a bit “DIY” if you aren’t expecting it! While a bit confusing at first, it’s actually a cool nod to rustic peasant traditions. Service was great, attentive and welcoming throughout. Definitely worth a visit for a cozy, traditional meal!

A wonderful place! I came for dinner – one person, no reservation – and the team very kindly sat me in a space that was reserved for a large party later in the evening. I had tagliatelle with chianina ragu – so delicious! And a side of vegetables in olive oil, which were crunchy and a good change from the richness of the pasta. They also have lambrusco by the glass – I had two glasses, and moved to another table when the large party arrived during my second glass. The staff was friendly and kind and the ambiance was warm and friendly. Will definitely come again!

Such a lovely hidden gem. The food was delicious, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the service was quick. Great atmosphere and very reasonable prices for the quality. Highly recommended.

See enjoyed our meal here, splitting some salamr to start. The onion sauce at the beginning was so delicious. I liked my tagliatelle and he enjoyed his lasagna. We both had decent desserts, one of the being thr chocolate salami. Overall, a nice meal and not too pricey for the center of the city.

Almost didn’t go because of a bad review (someone claiming they were chased out of the restaurant).

So glad we did go because it was fantastic. Food was great! Service was good too – seeing us struggling with the menu, they brought us the English version and was helpful in explaining the dishes and provided recommendations when we asked.

The cheese and cold cut platter was truly outstanding!

Located in Milan.

For appetisers, se ordered burrata & bread with spreads.

For main, we got ravioli with different fillings, truffle, ricotta & spinach & ginochi with pesto

The ginochi was mid, the ravioli was delicious except the truffle one. Not a fan of truffle

After trying several places around the Duomo, this was honestly the only restaurant that felt truly worth it. Great atmosphere, good service, and food that actually stands out in such a touristy area. If you’re eating in the Duomo area, this is the one place I’d genuinely recommend trying.

I came here specifically for the lasagna after reading so many good reviews. When I went to order it, I found out it wasn’t actually beef lasagna but a mix of pork and beef, which I don’t eat. The waitress suggested the tagliatelle with beef instead. I asked if they had spaghetti bolognese, and she explained it would basically be the same sauce, so I went with her recommendation.

The pasta itself was tasty and cooked well, but it was extremely oily and there was very little beef in the dish. For a €15 plate, I was disappointed — it was mostly carbs and oil with barely any protein. Overall, flavorful but not worth the price based on portion and balance of ingredients.

What a great find! We were lucky enough to get a recommendation from a local to come here. The food was absolutely delicious, offering wonderful local dishes for a very decent price. It’s a fantastic spot, especially considering it’s so close to all the expensive stores near the Duomo in Milan. Highly recommend!

Probably a tourist trap. Went here based on the reviews. The food was okay-ish. The tiramisu was terrible.

The service was okay until we got the food and then no smiles or checks on whether the food was alright or whatsoever.

I’d skip this place if I had an option.
