Had dinner there tonight and it was great. The menu is small, you can choose from tacos or quesadillas – and there’s one cactus plate that’s served with beans and cheese – but if you’re in the mood for tacos and/or quesadillas it’s the perfect place to go. As a treat they offered free cooked onions on the side which were also fantastic. I said a polite no to the cooked jalapenos, eating an entire jalapeno is too much spice for me. But I thought it was a cool touch to have that as a bonus treat. There wasn’t a line to get in and once I placed my order the food was ready in just a couple of minutes. You stand there at the counter and watch them cook it. It’s a neat experience, very authentic, hot as hell so close to the grill, etc, but worth it. There’s standing counter dine in area that makes for a friendly atmosphere. The staff are friendly also, professional and not the New York stereotype rude attitude, very welcoming. I’m so glad I stopped by there tonight and it’s absolutely a place I’d go to again. 10/10 highly recommend.

Great food, fast service very good prices for Manhattan. I don’t remember ever having cactus before, but it was great! Texture is a bit like mushrooms. This is a tiny place with stand up bars/tables for eating, but it’s cute and great for a quick bite.

I was shocked by how good the adobada, guacamole, and fresh salas were (I would say you can akip the pollo asado and maybe even the care asada though they are good too). Ive heard so many negative things about the Mexican food in NYC. Im so glad I had an excellent experience .

The restaurant was abaolutely spotless and the staff was all excellent too. I hope to come back sometime.

I had the chicken and steak tacos. They were amazing…. ingredients were fresh and seasoned…. toppings were not overpowering but added flavor to the tacos. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and will be returning. Heard the hibiscus juice was really good but I didnt get it. Next time, I will.

Stopped by for a late dinner…place was packed but the line moved quickly. Limited options so we tried all the three meats plus a couple of drinks. When our food was ready, a space at the stand up counter opened. Everything was superb…though it’s worth noting that the pork is pretty spicy. I had to finish my wife’s – what a tragedy 😉 Don’t miss the fantastic fresh condiment bar by the window!

Hands down the best tacos I’ve had, even compared to a lot of places back home. Everything tasted fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell they focus on quality. The vibe is casual and fast-paced, but the food is unforgettable. I would 100% go back.

Had both steak and pork tacos. Both had generous servings of meat and on the side of the shop, there was free flow of sauce and toppings. Well worth a trip down.

This is one of our favorite stops in NYC! The food is exceptional and we have not had one bad experience. The best taco is the pork one but you can’t go wrong with any of their selections.

The adobada (pork) was soooo delicious! They also don’t skimp out on the toppings ‍

Went to this location after the insane line at the Times Square one LMAO. But I’m so glad I did it was one of the most memorable bites of my trip! The service is phenomenal too!
