Just moved to the area, this was our first time here. The sushi was good and crab rangoons were so crispy! It’s been a while since I’ve had good crab rangoons anywhere in Philly. All the dishes we saw served, along with our own, were colorful and creatively decorated. Our service was fast and all the staff were attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend for dining in or take out!

Let me tell you, Sakura Ramen & Sushi bar has quietly become our absolute top choice for dining in this city. We’ve visited about 5 to 6 times, and every experience has been consistently amazing. The fish is always exceptionally fresh, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and each dish is like a little surprise rather than a filler between the highlights. The presentation of each dish is pure flavor, excellent texture, and truly thoughtfully designed ingredients.
The atmosphere and food complement each other perfectly. The space here is both dim and stylish yet comfortable, making it particularly special without being stuffy or pretentious. The staff are all very friendly, and the sushi chefs are kind and charming. The entire dining experience is filled with a cheerful atmosphere rather than being formal or awkward. Besides, the quality you enjoy is so high that the value for money is simply unbelievable. You feel like you should be paying more for what they offer. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My first time experience was lovely. I went to dine-in alone and was greeted quickly by the hostess and seated.
The service staff was hospitable and attentive. They checked in on me throughout my dine-in experience. I did not want for water and I drink a lot of it.
The food was delicious. I got the tuna avocado maki roll and the chicken katsu bento. I will absolutely dine here again in the future.

Eaten in and gotten take out from here many times, about once a month or so. Quality is consistent and dependable. The restaurant is often fairly busy, reservations are recommended but it’s possible to get a table without them. One of the best restaurants in the area for sure.

What a great place for sushi. The staff is polite, the food is delicious, and the location is off the beaten path.
We loved the ginger dressing for the salad. If you don’t try this you’re not doing yourself any favours.
The sushi for two, which is what’s pictured herein, was a masterpiece for the eyes and carried a wonderful flavour profile.
Chilean sea bass was incredible, as was the tuna.
If you like sushi, you’ll leave here loving it.

My husband and I went last night and the food was incredible. The beef teriyaki was so tender and the sushi was some of the best we’ve had in the city. Well worth the price!!
