Thanks you very much to the gentlemen and young lady that helped us today.
My wife and I had never been here before.
What a pleasant surprise in the Pearl!!!
The question with sausage was HUGE! I then ordered a steak & my wife ordered 7oz peppercorn filet. Both orders were prepared perfectly! The chef was familiar with black & blue cooking styles.
We recommend this place to all who are thinking of a visit to SA!
Thank you very much for the fantastic service!!!
We will be back!
My main complaint is that this place needs a better exhaust system. I’m not sure what was burning in the kitchen, but smoke permeated the entire dining room. My wife and I were uncomfortable throughout the meal, our eyes were watery, and our throat and noses were itchy.
Worse yet, we left reeking of oil. We had a commitment immediately after dinner, but we were forced to go home to shower, wash our clothes, and change. The smell was so potent that it permeated our car interior, so even after showering, we were smelling of grease when we got back in the car.
We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was excellent. For mains, we had the 12 oz and 9 oz ribeyes. I would have preferred a stronger sear on the meat and better rendering of the fat cap, but otherwise, the flavor and doneness were to our liking.
I cannot complain about the service. The two ladies waiting on us were attentive and on point.
I’m putting 3 Stars due to an average of the food (4), the service (5), the atmosphere (1, due to the ventilation issues).
