This place used to be pretty decent. I remember when the food felt fresher, the buffet stayed stocked, and the overall atmosphere felt more welcoming. Lately, it just hasn’t been the same.
The main reason I still come here is because of Lion. He’s one of the few bright spots that keeps the experience positive. Good service goes a long way, especially in a buffet setting, and he’s consistent.
I also still come because the steak is on the menu. That’s really what brings me in. When it’s done right, it’s solid for a buffet. But the overall quality and consistency don’t feel like they used to. Some items sit too long, some trays aren’t as fresh, and the energy of the place just feels different compared to before.
I’m not saying it’s terrible. It’s just not what it used to be. I hope management takes a closer look at consistency, freshness, and service standards, because this place has potential. Right now, I’m coming for Lion and the steak. I just wish the rest of the experience matched that.

Came from dodge for my birthday. food was okay.. it’s what I requested.. instead of going to Waukesha we went to Appleton. food wasnt so fresh. I wanted salad bar mediocre. Maybe I’ll do a asian buffet next year.. disappointed a little.

I had not been to Golden corral in a number of years, and it doesn’t help when I have friends that don’t like Golden corral and therefore don’t want to go with me. But I found out that one of my friends also likes Golden corral. So I said let’s go for lunch. And it was just as good as I remembered! The only critique that I have is I wish they had self-serve drinks because the service with getting fresh drinks and taking your plates away isn’t the best, it’s not the worst but it wasn’t the best.

Haven’t been here since covid shutdown. Food was good,young Hispanic man was so great to us. We had 6 kids 2 adults so messy. He assured we were good and he had it covered and he did!
Sadly it is dirty! Bathroom needed repairs and hot water and soap! Everything in dining room sticky! Food areas not very clean. Food droppings everywhere. So basic! Old is OK but dirty is not acceptable. Tons of dust on light fixtures too.

Dirty and disgusting used to be a favorite today paid $35 to not eat . Bourbon Street chicken looks white and unseasoned and my steak was so greasy and all fat. Nothing was full of clean dirty food everywhere, dirty sliverwear act

The fruit tasted gross and sour, I had a piece of hair on my southern fried pork chop, we waited like 20 minutes for another refill and their is new people who work their so their service sucks. Last year I never had this problem but 2025 they have new people so I would not suggest going their and paying for 3 adults and a 5 year old.

Golden Corral, unfortunately, fell short of our expectations. The musty smell and overall uncleanliness of the building were disappointing. While the food was acceptable, it didn’t stand out. The service was decent, but the drink servers seemed disengaged, consistently getting multiple people’s orders wrong. Considering the price, the experience was underwhelming. This visit was an exception to the positive experiences we’ve had with other Golden Corral locations.
