Pull up and this super kind waitress comes out and helped up pick what we wanted to eat and gave us a minute to look over the menu. We got the food in a timely matter and it was not a bad price at all. The taste was very good. I got two hot dogs, fries, and a cheerwine. Come here if you want a good meal and to be treated kindly.

So my husband and I pulled up to the middle where they come out & take your order but no one ever came out until another vehicle pulled in. After the girl that came out for the other vehicle got done taking their order she was going to just walk back inside so my husband had to shout out to her to get her attention so we could place an order. She was nice but I didn’t appreciate how she was kind of leaning on the door the whole time. Some customers might not like you touching their vehicle! I went in to use their restroom & their was poop on the wall & it stunk in their very bad. Lastly the food wasn’t all that great, fries were crispy but no salt so no flavor & hotdogs were cold.

Great food. The lady taking the orders outside was so friendly. I ordered the fried chicken plate and my husband order the fried fish sandwich. Both tasted amazing and filled us up. Definitely try the banana pudding if you go.

I was born in Eden, NC. My grandparents brought us here somewhat regularly, and, as a result, having “two cheeseburgers with mustard, chili, and slaw, along with a side of french fries and hush puppies” is my “Rosebud.”
The food is ridiculously good; they are a true Drive-In if you want, and if you ever anywhere near EDEN, NC, you should try them.

I was back in my birthplace for my 79 y/o Mom’s wedding, so I *had* to stop by Dick’s Drive-In a couple of times.
First visit was a cheeseburger w/mustard, chili, slaw (which I’ve ordered since I was a child) and fries. Ridiculously good.
Second visit was inside the restaurant w/brother and his awesome family. Seeing that Dick’s had won “best hot dog in town,” I ordered that with “the works” and my usual cheeseburger w/mustard, chili, slaw and fries. Also got some hush puppies for the family to try and some slaw.
The hot dog was so vibrantly pink that my nieces recoiled but I devoured every bit of it and everything they delivered.
My nieces were skeptical, but said they ended up loving it, which brought me joy.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I got 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 drinks and a slice of pie for under $20! Service was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend a big Jim with cheese, slaw, chili, ketchup, mustard, and grilled onions. Great experience. I’ll be sure to stop by next time I’m in town.

Another ride to try a local place. On the waitstaff recommendation, got the hotdog special all the way with fries. Standard fare, but was hot and good tasting. Everyone working there were exceptionally nice and welcoming.
