Honestly, I can’t get over how amazing this place was. My husband and I went in to pick up pre-sliced turkey for my sister’s Thanksgiving party. All I had was a QR code on my phone because my sister had done all the ordering from a different city. I had no idea what to expect — I had never been to this company before, any location!
We walked in and were immediately greeted. Everyone seemed friendly and Kai, our cashier, even started happily celebrating because she recognized us as prepaid customers. That must make life easier to just scan a code.. It was so cute and nice! Also, I asked for the largest portion they had (my sister’s orders) and Kai cheerfully obliged. Beside the delightful staff and impressive efficiency, the store itself looked clean, well stocked, and pleasantly decorated.

The food is great. But beware. They have cut their sandwich sizes way down in size. Cost for just one sandwich (Turkey Classic) is $10. No sides. No drink. Nothing but the sandwich. Upgrade to a meal and it’s $14. That gets you a drink and one side. Way, way overpriced, even though the food is always very good. Watch out for the elderly Customer Service Rep (Lady) at the counter. She’s not too pleasant to deal with. She clearly did not like having to serve me. Complained the whole time. She should go back into retirement. Biggest concern is the overpriced menu and smaller portions. Not worth your money. I had a Buy One – Get One Free deal and was still charged $19.38 even though all I got was the sandwich meal deal. One of them should have been free. Won’t return.

I know how think I like it, the best kinda cheese and the perfect combination of condiments and toppings. The Honey Baked Ham sandwich tops that! The boneless Ham is the best ham I’ve ever eaten and I give it 5 stars.
The price is insane. In my picture you can see a 5 pound boneless ham is $80!
The service used to be great, but the last 4 years it has not been good. We always order 1-2 weeks in advance, prepay and select the date and time we will pickup. Today we went at our designated time and they didn’t have the 3-4 pound boneless ham we ordered! They offered us a bone-in ham, which we do not want. They then offered a 5 pound boneless ham, which we took but they said they would need to charge our card and additional $27 on top of what we already paid. We wanted the ham, so we just said fine. This is the 3rd time this has happened in the past 4 years! On top of that 3 years ago they were not even able to give us the boneless ham we ordered, and paid for in advance, instead they gave us a bone-in ham. And then another time there wasn’t even a boneless option.
What is the point of ordering 1-2 weeks in advance, prepaying and selecting a day and time to pickup if they aren’t even going to have it for you anyway? Over the past 4 years, with the issues we have had, we haven’t received one apology. With our situation today they should have given us the ham at the price we already paid, we shouldn’t have been up-charged for their error.
Anyway, the ham is excellent if you want to deal with the bad service and expensive price.

Take & Bake Sliders…. what a great, easy way to feed the family for the holidays or anytime. The sliders tasted incredible, and the sauce was a great touch. I highly recommend these little sandwiches for a great meal.

I visit the Honey Ham Store several times a year, not just holidays. I always get there BOGO ham bones. The bones are full of the sweetest honey baked ham. I made split pea soup and ham salad for a family of 5 with one ham bone. I live near New Athens Il. and drive there to South county store and had forgotten my wallet. They gave me the ham bones . I was so grateful.

I decided to give it a try. The two people who helped me were the sweetest kindest and thoughtful people I’ve ever met. They helped me find something to try and gave me a run down. Reccomended some things and explained everything in detail. And went out of their way for me which they didn’t have to do but it was much appreciated!
I tried the honeybaked ham and Mac n cheese. And it was the most heavenly genuinely best sandwich I ever had. I definitely will be bringing friends and family!
Prices aren’t too bad at all especially for a whole meal. Definitely cheaper and you get more than Arby’s. And it’s much more fresh
I got take out as I was on my way to work. And jt was unbelievably fast!

Well the food was delicious and made for a nice meal. However, I never got the gravy I paid $10 for. Online customer service couldn’t help, and when I called the store, they said I had to come back IN PERSON with the receipt. I do not live close, and since it was not my mistake, I don’t feel I should have to drive all the way back just to provide a receipt for something I paid for and never got.

I ordered food online and went in to pick it up. There were tons or customers in and out, especially because it’s Thanksgiving week. The employees were friendly and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. They had someone waiting at the door directing you to the proper line and someone else giving out samples in the line. The employees were very fast and efficient and even gave me a free cheesecake sampler. I don’t like turkey, but I had a smoked turkey from here a few years ago and it was the best turkey I’ve ever had so this is the only place I will eat from. Only negative about this location is the parking lot is cramped.
