I was looking for some place to eat something delicious and I found that place in Broni! I asked for a recommendation and the young lady behind the counter said I should try the on Engusi with beef and Fufu… So I did and I was blown away!! The restaurant is clean, neat and really bright atmosphere. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and polite. After I order my food she came out to check and see if I was comfortable with the heat level of the dish I chose. And I told her I’m a nola girl, so yes definitely comfortable. The pricing isn’t terrible based on portion and ingredients. My meals with tax I think was $28. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed!
Pro Tip:
Check out the menu before you go for a better idea of what you might want to try if you haven’t experienced West African food already. And ask advice on what to try.

My first time trying this restaurant. Food taste good. Original price for rice $14 dollars to add beef $6 extra dollars and only got 2 pieces of meat( mostly gristle). I feel like I’ve been scammed .

I was at an event which was 7miles away from this restaurant. Found the restaurant online and placed an order. The okra soup was delicious and better compared to the ones I have tried in ATL. The fried beef was tasty and perfect the Ghanaian way. I will order again if I find myself around there.

This is hands down some great food. I had the beef and jallof rice and the flavors where there it was packed well and I didn’t have a long wait. I will definitely be back. First visit and I’m so glad I found this place. Thank you guys for the great food and service.

Wow I really enjoyed this food! The Jollof rice is smokey and so delicious! The goat is the perfect compliment to it. I see some say the goat is dry, but you have to understand how they cook it. The sauce and flavor makes up for the dryness, in my opinion. None of it went to waste in this house! Everything was good, tasted clean and fresh.
I ordered on instacart, the driver had another order to drop off before mine and it still arrived hot!

I ordered delivery for waakye and banku. The food arrived warm and beautifully packaged. The waakye portion was substantial and delicious, the banku and okra came insulated and securely packaged cups. Would order again.

UPDATE:
I returned to Broni today!! The owner made everything right! My experience today was excellent. No questions asked. Thank you Broni staff and the owner for satisfying me as a customer! You are now 5 star! The food was AMAZING! I’ll see you again!!
I love African food and like to try different places so I gave Broni a try. I ordered Eugsi with Goat meat and a side of Jollof rice. Before I left the nice lady allowed me to see my order and even taste it. Everything was there. The food was great, for the exception that they use canola oil instead of palm oil. Nevertheless I was happy with the flavor and could not wait to get home (45 minute drive home). When I finally get home to eat my meal, I thought I was seeing double. I had two fufu, egusi, and no jollof rice. I quickly called the restaurant and advised them of what was missing from my order. They told me when I come back they would give me my order of jollof ($8) when I came back to the restaurant. She took my name and was very nice about it and I appreciate her understanding. I started to eat my eugsi and goat meat and was enjoying the flavor until I notice something wrapped around a piece of meat. It was a long hair! I could not eat another bite and $30 of my hard earned money was now wasted. I knew it wasn’t mine because I have locs and this hair was wrapped around a piece of meat and in sauce. I really was looking for a great experience here because they were so nice and the taste of the food was very good. My two star is for the experience. The food was a four star because I love palm oil.

Eating at Broni was the first time I’ve tried African cuisine and afterwards it certainly won’t be the last. The Jollof rice along with plantains was a flavor explosion, so good. I will also recommend the Egusi with Goat. The meat was very tender and again the spices were just the right balance of heat and umame. The dining area is nothing fancy, but sufficient. The service was great. Walk in, order, and just a couple minute wait. Ordered two dishes to try some different things and ended up with enough food to last for two days! Will be back when in the area again. Thanks Broni for a great experience.

I ordered this food on Uber Eats. I was really excited to try West African food for the first time. Unfortunately, the container that they put the food in caused all of the soup to spill to the bottom of the bag which left me to eat meat and vegetables with no sauce. Also my FuFu was cold when I received it. Overall, I don’t feel that I got the full experience because the soup was wasted out before I received it. I recommend they use plastic containers with the top instead of Styrofoam containers. My order was fufu with beef egusi soup.

Came here today excited because the reviews were fairly good. Me and my daughter walked in, 2 women were in the back. No one greeted us at all. We chalked it up to them being busy at the moment. We looked over the menu and decided what we wanted and stepped to the counter. One lady saw me standing at the register, said something to the other lady and she closed the door in our faces. Didn’t say “one moment” or “we will be right with you” NOTHING!! Just closed the door. Glad there were other African food spots around that had better customer service. 0/10…would not recommend.
