We had a fabulous meal at Frankie! The food and cocktails were delicious and creative! Very cozy atmosphere. We wish the waiters had been a little more engaging and available. That would have definitely made it not just a great meal, but an exceptional one!

We had dinner at Frankie in Athens and really enjoyed it. The food was amazing — everything we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. You can tell they use good ingredients. The staff were also great. Everyone was very professional, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a place we would happily return to. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving good Italian food.

I loved Frankie’s! The food was really great. The staff was incredibly nice (every single one of them) and the food, from the coppa salad, to main courses (gnocchi and pizza) and even the dessert (basque cheesecake), everything really shined. I’d definetely come back if I’m in Athens again.
Downside: it is a little bit more on the expensive side. It is absolutely worth it, ofc, if you can afford it, but we spent 80 euros/2p.

So if you expect gluten free pizza (1st pic) on par with its unaltered equivalent (2nd pic) you will be disappointed. Not only do you pay 2€ more, the pizza is much smaller and the dough tastes quite different 2/5 (squinting even) because of the price.
You can really get on-par with normal dough using xantham gum and e.g. Caputo gluten-free flour these days. There is no excuse, especially at this price point.
Also our vegan cauliflower-based dish was at best a 3/5.
We then ordered the gluten variant for the caprese pizza, to compare. Its not only bigger (at 2€ less), it was also definitely a 3/5 as far a Italian (!) pizza goes. If you compare to “pizza in general”, you could say it was maybe 4/5.
But the we ordered the tiramisu and that’s where things turned.
Probably one of the best tiramisu we ate in our lives, easily a 10/10 – would do again!
Verdict, ok place, nice Feng-Shui, great service, food: your mileage may vary.
If you’re vegan or looking for gluten-free, there may be better options in this city.

The restaurant is excellent, the food is Italian and there is a wide variety of everything. The food plates are not the biggest so take a few dishes and share. We really enjoyed it. Don’t miss the tiramisu and the cheesecake.

Frankie isn’t just the best Italian restaurant in Athens — it might be one of the best anywhere in the world.

Located in the heart of the city, this farm-to-table gem exceeded every expectation. We began with a burrata salad that tasted like edible poetry — fresh greens, jewel-like beet cubes, whisper-thin dried figs, and impossibly airy burrata, all dressed with premium olive oil.

The pancetta risotto was extraordinary — deeply flavorful, delicately seasoned, topped with sweet-potato cubes and thick, crispy-yet-juicy slices of pork. Resting on a vibrant parsley emulsion, it was a perfectly composed dish.

Dessert was a standout: mango crème brûlée topped with freeze-dried mango and a scoop of velvety ice cream. Paired with a goji–açaí hot tea served loose-leaf in a French press, it felt sophisticated and comforting at once.

Service was timely and warm, with multiple staff members ensuring a seamless experience. Frankie became our favorite place to eat in Athens — and it will be the first reservation we make when we return.

Great Italian place in the center of Athens with a Greek touch. Absolutely everything we ordered was very tasty. Pizza, pasta, salad, and fish. The waiter was very nice and had a good sense of humor. I would definitely like to come back here. And of course the dessert was perfect. We received a nice compliment at the end.

We dined at Frankie with my family, the service was very kind and we got seated fast. The open kitchen form the side promised and delivered very tasty qualitative food. Everything came fast at and was delicious, service was exceptional. We even got offered a dessert to try for free.

My husband and I stopped at Frankie while traveling on our honeymoon, and even though the staff didn’t know, they treated us with more warmth and care than some restaurants we’d told in advance. The service was that genuine. Every person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and clearly proud of the food they were serving.

The meal itself was flawless from start to finish. We’ll be dreaming about the garlic bread—it’s that good. Our server made spot-on drink recommendations, and we loved the wine so much we bought a bottle to take home. When dessert arrived (on the house), it felt like the perfect ending to a dinner that already felt special.

Frankie manages to make fine dining feel personal, approachable, and completely unpretentious. It’s rare to find a restaurant that gets every detail right, but this one absolutely does.
