I had a great experience at Metro Diner. Bob, the manager, really stood out hes football fan Steelers— he’s a genuinely good guy who clearly cares about both the customers and his team. You don’t always see management that involved, but he made sure everything was running smoothly and that we were taken care of.
The service was friendly Avery, the atmosphere was welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Bob’s attitude alone made the visit better. I’ll definitely be back. 5 stars GO PATS

First time here. Party of 4. No wait to be seated. Servers excellent service great job. Starters cheese curds, loaded fries & onion rings all delish, really good. Chicken & waffles, chicken fried perfectly, chicken tasted bland, not seasoned at all but fried very well. Chicken pot pie fresh and very good. Atmosphere loud, hard to converse without talking loudly.

The Fish n Chips and Chicken Pot Pie were excellent. They do need to have malt vinegar on hand, but the food was so good, it would be shameful to give anything less than 5 Stars. The server was great, too. She was hustling to cover several tables, which was entertaining to watch.

My mom and I was served today by a really nice, attentive server named Tonya. We will definitely be back and bring our family because of her and the delicious food. I had the meatloaf dinner and my mom had fish and chips. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious.

Kelsey was our server and was so sweet! My mom had a gluten sensitivity and she was sure to check on the details of the ribs. Everything was delicious! We were delighted with the classic American diner food. My mom even said the coffee was great. I had the chicken and waffles and my dad had the meatloaf. They did a great job with everything—we hope to come again! Additionally, their manager Bob was so sweet to check up on us after we’d finished everything.

Growing up eating at the original location in Jacksonville, it was a pleasant surprise to see a little slice of Duval on my trip to my cousins wedding in Carmel. It just so happened to be less than a mile from my hotel room. It did not disappoint! I got the fried chicken egg Benedict. It was delicious! The coffee was excellent. So excellent that my mother kept saying it was best coffee we had the entire trip. Our server was also amazing. Even though they were slammed, she still made us feel like we were her only table! We will definitely be stopping back in the next time we are in town! I’m happy that Ya’ll have a little taste of the south up in Indiana!

There’s something about a diner I love, and this one is a hidden gem. Tanya, my server is the cutest and Bob has some special hospitality going on. The coffee is really good and look at my food! Yummy.

Erin was super sweet, very attentive, personable and cheery. Bob also came by our table to speak to us and welcomed us and talked for a moment. We both ordered the biscuits and gravy platter and it was so good! Definitely hit the spot for what we were craving. We will definitely have to come back in the future to try more inevitably yummy food. Very positive experience all around today!
