We visited on New Year’s Day for brunch, and while there’s a lot to like about this place, there’s definitely room for improvement—especially with service.
My wife ordered the fried chicken biscuit with a poached egg, and I ordered the farmer’s omelet (no mushrooms) along with a short stack. We also ordered beignets. Unfortunately, my omelet came out with mushrooms even though the modification was clearly stated and repeated when the order was taken. By the time the mistake was noticed, I was already halfway through my short stack and didn’t want to wait for a remake, so I let it go. What was disappointing, though, was that no manager or chef came by to acknowledge or apologize for the mistake.
Service throughout the meal felt inconsistent. The restaurant seemed both overstaffed and understaffed at the same time—there were plenty of people walking around, but little attention paid to tables that weren’t assigned to them. We spent a good portion of the meal with empty water glasses and no check-ins. A more team-oriented approach to service, where anyone on the floor helps guests when needed, would make a big difference.
The lack of management involvement stood out as well. Not only was a sale affected that day, but situations like this can also cost repeat customers. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way.
Overall, the food is good and worth trying, but the service needs improvement to match the quality of the menu.

this place is nice just opened up so it’s fresh. My service was amazing. It was very busy on the weekend and I understand when you freshly open up things could be a little chaotic but things were great. Yes there’s a wait on fresh food but that’s with any food that is made freshly. The host were very nice people. They came by and checked on us asked us if we needed anything. set us down within 10 minutes, which is great. The servers were amazing. They were quick. They did the best they can while waiting on our food. Our food came out hot and fresh. Abby was our server and she was amazing. i’ve seen a couple of bad reviews on here about leaving out without getting their food but you have to understand. This is a brand new business opening and it’s not the host or service fault they’re doing the best they can so give them another try thank you guys for the amazing service of food. I will be back.

Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in, except for the line. There was a 45 min wait, but then we saw the bar seating! Eureka! Low and behold there were 2 seats. Samir promptly took our order, and Kendra was right there baristaing and cocktail

We had the Apple Fritter French Toast and Corned Beef & Brussels Hash. Samir and Kendra worked seamlessly as a team and even gave great recommendations for food and drinks. Edie, was the best! This was our first time at the cafe and we arrived close to closing. However she didn’t rush us to make our selection, instead she assisted us in making our choices by describing the menu options, portion sizes and its popularity. She even brought out some complimentary beignets to try because we were new comers. I didn’t prefer the honey mustard dressing that arrived with my salad so she brought me a jalapeño vinaigrette. It was fantastic, sweet savory and not spicy, it paired well with my Chicken Cobb salad. Items pictured (Beignets, Lunch Duo w/ Chicken Cobb salad and Louisiana Jambalaya, Seasonal special Corn beef with Brussels Sprouts.

First time dining here and I was very impressed with my overall experience! I definitely understand now why they are always so busy! Initially, we were set to wait for a table but decided to eat at the bar because some seats became available. The bar service is amazing! We had the pleasure of being served by Samir and he is truly a gem with phenomenal customer service skills! He was very knowledgeable about the menu items and helped me with any questions I had. He made sure to constantly check up on us even in the midst of the busyness. Samir and Kendra are definitely a great team and watching them so effortlessly clear out all the drink tickets were impressive! They had such a great system at the bar! Now to the food-one word, AMAZING!!! I had the Mardi Gras omelette with country potatoes, hot chocolate, and an English muffin. Everything was seasoned sooooo well and the portion sizes are huge for a very reasonable price! I made it through half of my food but it was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was also great especially with the music playing in the background. I was in there having a good time! The ladies at the front are also very welcoming and polite as they greet you when you walk in. Overall, I’d highly recommend dining here! I can’t wait to return!

Do yourself a favor and try this place out! We made a reservation but it was super busy, so we would up sitting at the breakfast bar area. Service was great and the food was even better. They have so many options and everything sounded delicious. We’ll be back to try more!

Omggg!! This was the Single BEST Overall dinning experience we’ve Ever had! I wish more stars were an option! 10/10, I can’t wait to eat here again. My mom and I stumbled across this hidden gem post our appts. Im telling you From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the kindest hostess to meeting the owners daughter who also is an Amazing bartender, we were blown away! You could feel the love and intention in every detail, from how staff were treated, how they treated each other , how they treated us and even to the design of this cafe! Beautiful ambiance, Gave a modern industrial vibe.

First time here (on a busy Sunday morning) and loved it! Michael, our server, was friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing, every single bite. The skinny omelette was fantastic. The cloves of garlic sold me, and I wasn’t disappointed!!!! The fruit side was full of several different fruits including grapes, berries, and pineapples, but fresh and not mushy as most fruit sides are at other places. The coffee was strong and hot, and the bacon was fantastic – not greasy or fatty. The beignets were my favorite and definitely left me wanting more. Can’t wait to get back here soon!
