We picked our own table and our server took our orders. We got 2 kebabs (lamb liver and kofta). This came with hummus, pita bread, and pickles. The kofta was delicious and had a nice smokiness. It was slightly salty on its own, but great with hummus and bread. Ordered the lamb liver because it’s not a common offering at other restaurants. It tastes like liver and would only recommend to those that like that taste. Drink sold separately (no cup of water like typically restaurants, but we didn’t specifically ask).
We also ordered a lamb shawarma “sandwich”. This is a stuff pita pocket and came with a large portion of fries. Overall good. Fries were decent. The combo also came with a drink.
There were a lot of tables that seat up to 4 and 6. Service was friendly.
On top of the health concerns, the management seems disorganized. They were out of half the items on the menu. Also, be very careful and check your bill. The prices on the menu, the display, and the register do not match. I cannot recommend this place until they fix their hygiene, outdated menu & pricing issues.
However, our overall experience was soured by how the ordering process unfolded. We were a group of four with two kids and had planned to order individual plates, but the waiter strongly encouraged us to opt for shared platters featuring a variety of meats. Unfortunately, the price of these platters wasn’t listed on the menu, and I made the mistake of not asking upfront. When the bill came, we were shocked to see the total, at $165, for a meal that left us with far more food than we could eat. It felt like we were upsold without full transparency, which left a bad taste despite the good food. The service also felt chaotic, likely due to being understaffed, and the staff, though kind, seemed overwhelmed throughout our visit.
While the flavors and certain aspects of the atmosphere were top-notch, the lack of pricing clarity and service disorganization make it unlikely that we’ll return.
I went around 3pm so the restaurant was empty but my order was still taken quickly!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was obviously cooked fresh!
I got the half dozen falafel, arayes pita and the lamb shawarma sandwich. I am not exaggerating when I say that this place has the best falafel I’ve ever had. It was hot, crisp, fluffy and super duper flavorful. They were so good I wished I had gotten the full dozen. And even cold the next day they were amazing. The sandwich was good, smoky and meaty with a yummy sauce that reminded me of tzatziki. The arayas pita weren’t what I was expecting but they were still amazing. The meat inside had a surprisingly delicate flavor that paired well with the refreshing hummus like dip it came with. I ate most of it cold the next day and it was still great. I’m very satisfied with my visit and will definitely be coming back.
