Great Burgers that are Huge. Hand cut Fries are Rare these days. The Halibut Fish and Chips are Also Very Good. They have a Restaurant side and a Bar Side. Outside Dining Available. A nice place to Eat if the place is packed is just a short distance away. Mason Hill Park.

After reading the reviews, I decided to take us to lunch here. The beers were cold at least. The food was lackluster at best. We love dive bars, but the food here just did not live up to the reviews. My burger was OK, the onion rings were good. The $23 halibut fish and chips were factory made, super thin, overcooked pieces of fish. The fries were lukewarm and floppy. $60 plus tip. We will not be back unfortunately

This was a surprise. What a neat place right on the highway. The waitstaff were all so nice and quick. The fish and chips were really great! Lots of local brews on tap to chose from. All the locals started pouring in after we got there. It was awesome to see so many people enjoying such a neat place.

Cheeseburger and onion rings, absolute winner. Place was empty when I was there, but even empty it’s a great place to be. Service was super fast and friendly. Price to quality auto, unbeatable. 100% recommend.

This is one of our family’s favorite places to visit. My parents have been going to Helvetia for over 50 years. Always the best burgers, fries and onion rings everytime!
The house made ranch is also a favorite. Of you are a burger fan it’s a must try!

I like the place, our server was really nice. I got the chicken burger and I wasn’t a big fan, the Caesar salad was refreshing . My bf got the burger he said it was amazing. We ate outside and it felt really nice but I think some more lights in the back would of been better at one point I remember just eating in the dark

This place certainly doesn’t need my review, but I felt inclined just because I saw negative comments in other reviews.
I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time upon recommendations from multiple friends. So it finally happened and I was not disappointed. I went on a Monday so I didn’t have to deal with any huge crowds that could potentially happen on weekends and I was able to sit immediately. Both of the ladies who served us were very friendly and were very welcoming. I ordered the Jumbo cheeseburger with fries. When it came to the table the bun was larger than a normal burger so I knew it was going to be a big boy. Two very decent sized patties filled the bun, along with their delicious burger sauce. Every bite was delightful. Juicy, very well seasoned, I was very happy. I feel like it was fairly priced given the size, especially these days. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. I’ll be back for sure.

I’ve been coming here for over 40 years and although it’s been gentrified a little bit, it still retains most of its old time small town charm. Burgers are just as good as always. Service was great this visit. I was almost forced to lower it to 4 stars because the fish and chips was so bad, but then anyone who comes here and doesn’t get a burger deserves what they get. Stick with the burger and enjoy

A friend recommended i eat here after i got my christmas tree. My party of 6 was seated pretty quickly and the wait staff was very friendly. Our appetites grew willy as we saw these big jumbo burgers coming out the door. I had the jumbo burger and a plate of half onion rings and half fries to share with my wife and kids. The food was amazing and for being such a large burger, it really wasn’t messy at all. Their house sauce was super delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. Im definitely coming back as soon as I get the chance.

We went on a Thursday night, just around 4:30 or so. When we went in, we just sat wherever we wanted to. The dining area inside is small, maybe 6 or 7 tables, there was a bar with stools at the front, maybe could fit 4 or 5 people there. It didn’t take long to get our menus and to order. Our waitress was nice and so were the other waitresses. Our food was promptly brought out to us. We hand the cheeseburger and fries and onion rings. The burgers were delicious, the fries were crispy and wonderful, and the onion rings were also delicious. There is outdoor seating and bathrooms inside.
