This was our first time here and it was Amazing! Best we’ve had!! Great selection of sauces at the table that were all great. Lots to choose from on the menu and everything we got was soo good! Definitely gonna be eating here regularly from now on!! So glad we came !

So glad I decided to finally try this place because it is delicious! The smoked chicken breast is great and they have several different sauce options to choose from as well that are good. I’m also pretty sure they have the best baked beans I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend even if you aren’t a bbq lover!

I don’t live near here but I may be back soon just to eat at Kane’s again. Everything was so delicious. Love the variety of sauces. I’d never heard of Alabama White Sauce but I love it. It was delicious on the salad with brisket. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience!!! The food was absolutely delicious! The staff was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was so clean and well stocked. I told the lady employee I give this restaurant a 28.99211 outta 10! ONLY REASON they didnt get a 29 outta 10 is because I was to full and have to wait another day to come back and stuff my face!!! So glad I found this great little BBQ joint. I had the pulled pork sandwich and hubby had the smoked turkey sandwich. They have 5 choices of sauces. The Texas Sweet Heat and Sweet BBQ sauces mixed together were awesome. The pulled pork and turkey were both perfectly smoked and moist. The service was friendly and quick. A decent amount of seating. The price point is family friendly. Another choosing locally while traveling success! (Again, too yummy and aromatic to think of taking a pic before we ate it!)

We were passing through Gate City, VA at lunch time and randomly selected Kane St Smokehouse based on the Google reviews. We were so happy we found this place! This is likely the best BBQ we have ever had. We highly recommend it! We will happily drive the 35 minutes from Johnson City any time we are in town just to eat at Kane St Smokehouse. We had brisket and pulled pork sandwiches with mac & cheese and the best baked beans ever! All of the staff were so friendly and sweet. Josh, the owner, stopped at our table to greet us, chat, and thank us for stopping. It was so cool to know that America’s Best Restaurants was arriving soon to film a segment of their show highlighting this amazing place. Can’t wait to see the segment air in March. If you are in the Gate City, VA area (or Kingsport/Johnson City, TN), stop by and check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Food came out to our table super fast!
Pulled Pork and Sausage were delicious.
Jalepeno Corn Casserole was super and something a little different.
One of us ordered the BBQ Bowl and choose 2 meats + beans + coleslaw.
It was layered in the bowl, which would have been great, except there was a layer of melting cheese on top, which some may enjoy, but I would have preferred it be left off. Just my preference.

Delicious bbq and friendly, prompt service. Great selection of sauces – something for every taste. Smoked chicken, pulled pork and brisket all were delicious. Great selection of sides. Hearty serving sizes. We will definitely be back.

I cannot say enough about the staff here. We make this a weekly stop. The meat comes without sauce and you get your own choice of sauces on the table to put on your meat. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are plenty. most importantly, the quality is always high and it’s consistently good.
