Stopped by here yesterday for early dinner. Open seating and was greeted promptly by server. Rustic roadhouse vibes. Didn’t really look at menu as we already decided on specials of the day. Barbecued ribs and creamed chicken with biscuits. Everything was amazing. Meaty beef ribs done to perfection, tasty baked beans and a vinaigrette slaw were great accompaniment. The creamed chicken over biscuits were served with gravy and homemade mashed potatoes. Well prepared and tasty. Blackberry pie for dessert was also amazing. Five star service by our server, sorry I can’t remember her name, provided was a memorable experience and will definitely recommend to friends and definitely be returning soon!

This will be my first and last visit!
When we arrived, there were 3 tables occupied in dining area with a grand total of 8 people. ( there were 2 people in my party.)

We were given menus, ordered fish sandwiches which were described as cod fish on 9 inch bun with fries included for
$11.99 per menu price. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. What a disappointment!
The fries were dark brown and over fried, tasted like old oil was used to fry them. The fish was definitely not cod, more like pollock, cod is white, flakey and meaty, while whatever fish this was had grey streaks through it and was mushy and greyish white in color. The fish was much smaller than the bun, most places give you more fish than the bun. The bun was the best tasting part of the meal, at least it was fresh.

When the check came, they charged us $15.84 each for the sandwiches. I brought this to the server’s attention. We were told that the prices were raised after Covid and they have not updated the prices on their menus. This is hilarious because Covid was in 2020!

I asked to speak to a manager because this is a deceptive representation of prices.

The server returned with an adjusted check, and we were charged the amount reflected on their menu.

PS we did not get to speak to a manager but that was OK since they were kind and adjusted the check.

Also I wanted to make one last comment regarding legalities.

Restaurants are legally required to ensure their menu prices are accurate because this may violate consumer protection laws.

Pros: ample parking, cleanliness, ac works well, casual atmosphere

The burger was absolutely delicious, but the food took almost 50 minutes to be ready—even though only 2 or 3 out of about 20–30 tables were occupied.

The staff were friendly and polite. Prices on the actual bill were $2–3 more than what’s listed on the menu, which hasn’t been updated.

I gave 3 stars only because of the long wait time and outdated menu—otherwise, it would’ve been a 4.

Also, mobile signal is very weak here, and there’s no internet access.

Plenty of parking available.

Sure, it is small hole in the wall style place but has a Rustic roadhouse vibe to it. It clearly has lost its touch. I had been there many years ago (about 8) but it has changed for the worse – even on Wing Night. Bland Flat Chicken wings with dipping sauces of your choosing (be careful of the sauces you select – there can be a steep price on some of them which is not clearly marked). They used to be cooked in the flavors you requested. Took a long time for someone to take my order, but the waitress was straight forward and pleasant (no complaints about her). Funny that this was Wing Night and the place was about 1/4 full (the busiest day of the week as they advertise) – should tell all something about that. Also, they have a heavy surcharge if you use a credit card (excessive) so bring cash. All in all, I will never return to this place nor recommend to ANYONE. They should have stayed closed during and after COVID. Some very good places are struggling to stay open and afloat – and others should have taken and accepted their losses. They are only relying on Facebook advertising and Photo’s of their menu’s. I should have known better.

Great food, very friendly wait staff and bartender. Best wings in the tri-state area. Highly recommend the hot butter garlic, Randy’s bacon parm ranch. And their fresh garlic bread is killer.

Rye’s is a local restaurant that I love. Always enjoy their wings. Most places will give you wings with Franks hot sauce, but this gem of a restaurant creates sauces you can’t get out of a bottle. Loved everything I’ve ever had there.

Not the waitress Melanie, but dining room was crowded, she was the only waitress basically running to please customers, folks leaving, and food Luke warm. Definitely not her fault, she was Awesome. Need more employees! Don’t know how she was so Polite

Ordered a simple steak salad, asked them to hold the tomatoes due to a allergy. Guess who’s salad got loaded with tomatoes. The bar might be nice but the cooks can’t follow the simplest order. $16 for a salad and they can’t even figure out a simple request. Delivery driver was super hostile as well, hardly even said hello and he tossed the food at me.

Started the day off by driving from pittsburgh to swallows for a day trip. skipped breakfast and lunch and just elected to snag dinner on the road. As we were driving back we started looking for a place to eat. my friend found this place and said it looked cute and the food looked good thus we decided to come here. walked in and a very nice waitress greeted us and told us to sit wherever we felt comfortable which instantly set a positive tone! from there we realized she was the only waitress on the floor and despite that everyone got their drinks and food in a timely order. our waitress bobby/bobbie delivered some of the best food of our lives to us and made our group truly feel welcome. The food was fantastic, the vestaburger was “ the best burger” my girlfriend had ever eaten. my other two friends got wings with their “freaky ranch” or something like that with a spicy cajun twist that was fantastic. End of the day that made our trip 1000 fold better and we already talked about making the drive back. THANK YOU BOBBY!!
