I would always make a stop to any of the locations depending where I was during my visits to SoCal. I used to think the sopes were good back in the days, but this changed during our recent visit. The lines are crazy, I mean, crazy, on top of that, the wait time to get the food is another long wait. We stopped by this location since it was on our way, so we stopped a few times during our stay. The last time we went, I placed the order online and although the food was ready when I got there, the worker failed to inform me where to get my drink from. He assumed I am local and that I knew their system. When I realized my drink was missing, I went back to him and let him know that I had order a drink, he gave me a look and told me drinks are not picked up there, but he never told me anything to begin with. As I waited for my food, I noticed how they wear gloves as they are prepping the food, but they go and touch other surfaces like doors, papers.. and then continue prepping the food with the same gloves on. I dont believe I will go back just because the quality of the food has declined over the years.

Food is great here but not great waiting for over an hour. Sent my wife to go pick up some dinner and she’s been in line since 6:40 till 7:20, just for them to make the food in thirty six minutes. She barely got the food and if I am correct that’s an hour and 16 minutes for some tacos. Like be better prepared if you see you have a line hire another cashier. People need to stop standing around and get to working other wise why you hire them for to stand there and look stupid. Ridiculous and outrageous that people are even waiting for that long.

If you are looking for the best tacos, tamale, or burritos, look no further! This place is hands-down our favorite.
The salsa is definitely the highlight, it has the perfect kick and is easily the best I’ve ever had. To wash it all down, you have to try their delicious juices, they are absolutely “to dye for” and totally worth the trip alone!
Great food, amazing flavor, and the most refreshing drinks. This spot never misses!

We got there on Wednesday night after our church service in LA Puente not realizing they were closing 15 min.
They were gracious enough to let us eat our meal in a hurry, which we greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all the staff
and God bless you!

Came here on a Friday Afternoon . It was busy as always but the line went pretty quick . It also helps that you could order ahead of time . I always get the carne asada burrito with the red sauce and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly. Would have taken a picture but I ate my burrito too fast .

We had 2 lengua tacos and 2 cabeza sopes that very delicious however very small. Service is weird…I ordered the items with everything. But when I picked it up, the service person asked me again what I wanted on them…? Strange and very inefficient. The intercom isn’t loud enough especially when the music is blaring. Staff is very friendly.

I used to really love King Taco. I ordered a burrito de carnitas combo. The rice was hard and so was the meat the salsa was good and Jimaca was yummy. I always feel like the workers are rude and not helpful all. We had three orders and they would not give us salsa for our first order till all three order were served . I just feel like theres no customer service at all . I used to put up with it cause the food was always good now not so much . I won’t be back. And it only been at this spot .

King Taco used to be absolutely incredible, and the service was top notch. I was usually the only Gabacho in there and the cashier girls would laugh and giggle. Well it’s not as friendly and vivacious as it used to be and the food was average at best. The street tacos have little meat and the shells are totally raw and not even heated. Sorry but I don’t want a cold taco shell and one teaspoon of meat. Oh well, nothing stays the same. It is what I call “food” but that’s about it. Also don’t ask for too many sauces, they won’t like that.

An OG taqueria with multiple locations in SoCal. My family and I recently came in on a Saturday to grab a quick lunch at the Baldwin Park location, but really, any day really is a good day to grab some tacos and luxuriate in freshly cooked means enveloped by cilantro and onions. Is is a casual spot with free 1-2 hour parking outside. Plenty of seating indoors. They do accept credit cards as well as cash. You order and pay at the counter first prior to picking up your meal. They do have standard cuts like carne asada and al pastor, as well as the more adventurous ones like lengua and buche. Overall, a solid spot to get your taco fix.

Never order UBER Eats from here!

They always “forget” to put the salsa in every order. More than 8 times to be exact.

Don’t buy the 6 pack tamale packs. Some have NO meat in them whatsoever. Literally none. Don’t be fooled by the “deals”.

The quality is super bad now. And the service in this location is even worse.

They will fight to give you one salsa for a big order. Everytime.

And the Uber Eats at this location is terrible.

They shouldn’t be online. They obviously can’t remember to put salsa. That’s the whole point.
