Delivery was over 25 minutes late, pizzas were both cold and folded over on themselves as if they were dropped in their sides in the box. The pepperoni looked and tasted as it it had sat for a very long time before delivery was made.
Attempted to call the store at the 10 minutes past expected time and got immediately put on hold for over 10 minutes with no one picking the line back up. The pizza was extremely poor qaulity.

Sometimes the pizza here is really good, and the other half of the time it’s not.
For one thing, read the order and give people what they pay for. Put enough sauce so the pie isn’t dry. I order the same pizza, usually the Hawaiian with salami and pineapple. One night it’s perfect, the next time, horrible. Please don’t cut the salami into tiny pieces, just spread them evenly and leave them whole. And if the order says extra cheese, hey, that’s what I paid for. The ranch here isn’t edible.

We all have a bad day. We normally prefer Donatos over the other chains in Xenia. I ordered 10 pizzas for a group. Every pizza we received was burnt. It was too late to return the pizzas. I get that things go wrong. I’m not sure how those pizzas were even put in box… But really, if you talk with the manager and the problem is given, I’m expecting a response, a sorry, a gesture of correcting the problem.. that seems like good business. I contacted the store, sent in the pictures, told of our experience, but there is no real effort to admit the problem and attempt a solution. I wouldn’t write a negative review if the management did their job in caring for customers.

I placed an order for delivery and received an estimated window of 45min to an hour. The woman I spoke with on the phone had an attitude, but we all have bad days so I didn’t think anything of it. After an hour and 15 min. with our food still not delivered, I called back and respectfully asked for an update. I received no apology for the delay, and once again was met with incredible attitude.
Lack of customer service at this location is borderline embarrassing – the only saving grace was our delivery driver who was INCREDIBLY kind and probably deserves a better job elsewhere.
Had I received less attitude on the phone and ANY sort of apology, this review would not even exist. It seems the company responses to negative reviews on Google are much more apologetic – maybe try that on the phone/during your customer interactions so they don’t feel like the have to write a review just to get your attention.
NOTE: The chicken mariachi pizza COMES WITH sour cream – it says it directly on your website – so stop penny-pinching by excluding it with your deliveries. This is the fourth time in a row I have ordered pizza from this location and they have yet to actually include it in my order.

I ordered a large works, a large pepperoni pizza. When we got them home they tasted horrible the bottoms of them were burnt black not brown black!! That was the worst pizza I’ve ever bought. This happened on April 4th 2025. Buyer beware!! I wasted my money. I tried to get a manager on the phone and I could not get anyone to answer. I live out by Jamestown and did not want to drive all the way into Xenia to show him the burnt crust. This will be the last time I use this Donatos. They totally suck!
