The sweetest girl Nadine ( I know I butchered the spelling) was so patient and kind while I was choosing a box to make myself. Even gave recommendations to what she thought was better than others. They have pre-made boxes as well and gift boxes for the holidays. Great customer service beginning to end. Hummus is perrrrfect. Very clean establishment. Unique drinks. Cheap in house made bread . Even have free Quran’s. Very one of a kind experience in my opinion . I will be back no wonder they always have customers in the parking lot.

I visited Jerusalem Bakery & Grill recently, and it turned out to be a really nice surprise for anyone craving hearty Middle Eastern food. The moment you walk in, there’s a warm, welcoming vibe — a mix of casual restaurant energy and the comforting aroma of fresh bread baking somewhere nearby. It feels authentic without being flashy, which makes it a great spot whether you’re meeting friends, grabbing take‑out, or just treating yourself to something good.

We started with hummus and warm pita — simple, but fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I went with a beef shawarma platter that came with rice, salad, and freshly baked pita bread. The meat was well-seasoned and juicy, with that char‑grilled flavor that really hits if you’ve missed good kebabs. The rice was fluffy, the salads light and fresh, and the pita was warm and soft — perfect for scooping up dips or wrapping around meat. Everything felt generous portion‑wise; I left feeling full but not overstuffed.

One thing that stands out about Jerusalem Bakery & Grill is the variety. Whether you’re in the mood for shawarma, kabobs, vegan‑friendly platters, or just some fresh baked bread and pastries — there’s something for almost any craving. I appreciated that flexibility; it’s not just “one type of meal,” but a full Middle Eastern‑style spread, done well. Their vegetarian/falafel and veggie‑platter options looked good too, which is nice if you’re not after heavy meat-heavy meals.

Service was friendly and down‑to‑earth. Staff checked in just enough, refilled drinks, helped with sauces and suggestions when we asked — without being overbearing. The atmosphere stayed relaxed even when the place got busy, which made the meal feel chill and unhurried.

If you want honest food with real flavor, a cozy but casual vibe, and generous portions — especially something beyond the usual burger/pizza — Jerusalem Bakery & Grill is a solid pick. I’d definitely go back next time I’m in the mood for good Middle Eastern food.

I have been coming here for over seven years. Food is certainly good but the serving in plastic tray with plastic utensils is not appealing. It killed the whole experience of eating hot food in a sit down restaurant.

Service is too slow – it took forever to get food, not overly busy day. Looks like they got rise of commercial grill and installed small 6 burners grill – takes forever to cook kebabs.

In plastic container, quantity was less as well. Not satisfied at all. ( see the cheap plastic tray in the picture). Disgusting to eat in cheap plastic.

I loved coming here but now I will think about it.

The food was genuinely good—both the shawarma and kebabs were flavorful and well-prepared. I would’ve given a full 5-star rating, but the use of standard plastic cutlery was disappointing. Warm, freshly made food deserves to be served in proper silverware and non-plastic dishes. While this setup might be acceptable for food carts, it falls short for a sit-down restaurant experience.
Despite the service and cutlery concerns, the food itself made the trip worthwhile.

Jerusalem Bakery is one of the best ways to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, love the spinach pocket with tabuleh and lentil soup, as a delicious light lunch option! A heartier doctor salad with chicken kabob is quite nice too!

Overall, it was a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Trio ($26) and the Beef Trio ($28). While the food was good, the portion sizes didn’t quite match the price. The four side portions were especially small. They add a lot of yellow rice, which makes the plate look fuller than it actually is.

On the positive side, the dining area was clean and well-maintained, and there was plenty of parking. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, the sandwiches are much cheaper than the plates.

We shared the chicken kabob plate. It was absolutely delicious. Every item on the plate was fresh. I definitely over ate. So good!

A great place for some delicious shawarma, platters , baklava, kunafe and other bakery items.
The spicy chicken kabob was delicious and had a great flavor to it, the falafel on the veggie plate were delicious too. It had the salad, babaganuj, hummus, and rice. Overall a great place for some excellent food and bakery items to look for.

Solid kabob spot! Came here for a work lunch and was really good. Everyone was happy with their meal, their combos are good and the platters come with lots of food. I got the beef kofta plater. The kofta was solid, but nothing special. The sides are all good.

This place? Instant favorite. Chicken shawarma that melts in your mouth, kabobs bursting with flavor, warm pockets, and don’t even get me started on the baklava. So savory. So good. Honestly, I’m just mad I didn’t find it sooner.
