We always sit in a booth in the bar. Tim and Ross, service, is always outstanding! The food is always amazing! I even tell Tim or Ross to order my entree and it never disappoints!! But the atmosphere tonight was less than optimal. The dude with the dish pan cleaning the tables, was efficient as heck, but he either poured his cologne over his head or bathed in it. That’s all I taste. People are eating delicious food. No one wants to smell and then taste that!!

The food and service at Outback Steakhouse were just okay—not bad, but nothing to rave about either. The food was decent but lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Sides were average, and the overall presentation felt a bit rushed. Our server was polite but not particularly attentive. It was a pretty standard experience—fine for a casual meal. The drinks were decent.

I really wasn’t impressed. I called in for the “hold my spot” service they have. We got there at 6:30 thinking it would be jam packed but it wasn’t at all for a Friday night. There were several empty tables. And as slow as they were, we really didn’t get the service we would expect. The waitress didn’t refill my husband’s tea I had asked for an extra side sauce and never got it. The food was good. The bread was fresh and the butter was soft to spread. The fries were good.

Food was horrible, french onion soup was too salty, cukes in salad were old, tuna was meh, bloomin onion didn’t taste like I remembered and the lobster was smaller than a regular sized gulf shrimp! I haven’t been to Outback in 20 years, I won’t go back! Steak and loaded mash potatoes were good, thats about it. Server was very nice, its not her fault the food was not good. What happened Outback? Maybe I’m just old now with a more refined pallate. It was not a good meal, especially for $90 for 2 people, without adult beverages!
