The pork knuckle here is hands-down one of the best I’ve come across after 4 weeks of pork knuckles in various towns. This traditional German pub serves up a massive, crispy pork knuckle that’s fall-off-the-bone tender.

Honestly, one of the best places to visit in Heidelberg if you want to taste the traditional German cuisine and have the best pork knuckle of your life (don’t miss out). The service was amazing and made our dining experience even more memorable. Ege was excellent and very attentive. He managed to make our visit to Palmbraü Gasse, the best dining experience we’ve had throughout our 1 week trip. The food was the film but Ege was the director and he made all the difference❤️

Fantastic service and food. Our server Luca spoke perfect English and was very attentive. Pork knuckle was excellent and so were the beef and pork steaks. For dessert, the apple strudel was one of the best I tested.

Very good customer service, superb nice food and ambience is perfect. We ate pork knuckles, schnitzel and some kind of dumpling which was interesting in a good way. French onion soup was heartwarming for the cold outside and the hot chocolate is amazing. The staff helped me put the whip cream aside for the hot chocolate and gave our family a seat which was not too near the entrance, so thank you to the manager and friendly staffs. Highly recommended!
