Great little place to grab some Japanese in West Lafayette. I came here the same day I broke my toe so when I arrived I was writhing in pain.
When we left, that foot was still throbbing, but I had a bag of therapy in the form of delicious Japanese food. We tried the Katsu Curry and the Teriyaki Chicken and both were excellent. The Teriyaki to-go box with all the fixins’ was very well displayed and portions were generous.

Co-worker selected this restaurant. We ate noodles and . Three types of seating. Regular table sushi bar and traditional seating. We took the traditional. Sushi was very good, fresh seafood. Noodle was very tasty. I got mine with tempura. Service was okay. As you can see from the picture, no atmosphere. High ceilings with florescent lights. Yuck. We absolutely loved it. We were a group of 12 people, without prior reservation. They were kind enough to seat us in a private room which was large enough for 14-16 guests. The service was not fast, but it was understandable. The quality, and quantity of food was exceptional; alongside Japanese finesse in presentation.
I always wanted to try sake. Our hostess suggested a warmed sake, and I’m glad that I tried it. It was strong , but not overwhelming, and mildly flavorful. I enjoyed it.

Best sushi in West Lafayette. Friendly staff, appropriately priced, great variety on menu. The restaurant feels very “hole in the wall” in the best way possible. The only thing that would make their restaurant better would be if they invested in nicer furniture and dimmed the lighting. Unfortunately, their previous location next to A-1 shipping was much nicer than where they are now.

One of the best sushi restaurant in the town. Food is well cooked and tests great. Food presentation is awesome, lot of different types of seating depending upon the size of the group and this helps with a big group. It’s wonderful to watch sushi chef cook and create the food presentations.
