We had lunch here today, and, the food was OK, but we weren’t overjoyed with it either, the fries were soggy and overcooked, my chili dogs were good, my husband said his burger was ok, nothing to write home about. So, with this kind of a disappointing experience, they’ll get a two-star rating.

First time here and will be back. The Burger was juicy and better than in n out burger simple and delicious. And the potatoes are cut fresh every morning and you can tell they are so yummy and a good portion too. Definitely recommend it. I’m sure you’ll love it. We love chili and this place was in an article for Tucson’s top places to eat. Previous reviews were mixed with being the best they ever had to being bland but we had to check it out ourselves.
We pulled up late night to get a chili dog and chili cheese fries. The bun was soft but the chili was bland and flavorless. It had lots of beans. Lacking salt.
A previous reviewer commented that fries were soggy so we asked for well done. Glad we did because once they dumped on the chili, it made the fries soft.
I can relate to some reviewers who say that they’ve been dining here for decades and it’s so great when it could be nostalgia. Whereas, others said quality has gone down and food was not good.
I noticed the workers wear gloves but they handle the food, cash and open the dirty sliding window all in one transaction and then repeat! Glad none of us got sick. The tables were sticky. It’s just a run down place.
The chili fries had several sizes. They sold us a large, had we known, we would get the half size because the portions were huge and it wasn’t good. Would hate to waste food.
It’s cash or debit only. Paying card will add on $1.

Took my son here the other day. He loves his chili dogs. I had the Pat’s burger and he had the chili dogs. Said they are the best in town. It was our first time there. The customer service was great. They explained everything perfectly. Eating here is like stepping back in time. If your looking for something nostalgic. This is the place to go.

The fries were delicious…… the chili dogs were super spicy and zero flavor for the chili. I took the hotdogs out and cleaned them off to at least eat them. I asked for cheese and onions and got just onions. I should have listened to my partner that was not impressed either.

Great food, sketchy location. Told the cashier to give me what the locals eat, and I was given a chili dog (I chose the spicy chili over the regular) and fries. Both were pretty good. There is no indoor seating and only four small tables outside. The majority of the people I saw get food ordered it Togo.

Pats is a Tucson landmark. I’d been hearing how theirs are the best dogs in town. The chili tasted like a can of tomato beans and a spoonful of chopped white onion. There was no spices, no cumin or chili powder of any sort. My friend had the hot chil8 and it was actually so spicy that she couldn’t taste an6thing else. This woman is a Latina, she knows spicy! It was too hot for her. The fries were a lot! Dont expect crispy fries. They are fresh cut.

Great spot for some chili dogs. Order at the window and take your food to go or eat at one of the outdoor tables or in your car. The French fry portions are insanely large. You can’t go wrong with hot or mild chili dogs as both are delicious.
