Def tucked away little gem for sure! Ignore the scenery while getting there…trust the GPS and my review!

I am not a fish person but the FISH AND CHIPS look amazing and people rave about it!

Parking is plenty and always expect a line
We have been here multiple times and zero issues. Lines are fine which means high turn over!

FISH IS FRESH!

My wife got the fish and chips as well as a shrimp cocktail and she could not stop talking about!

I just got a cheeseburger and hot dog…all cooked well!

They did mess up our order WHICH IS FINE bc they were slammed and they are human. They handled their mess up in a timely and professional manner. I treated them with respect and they gave it right back.

This is a nice place to eat and hand before you jump on the ferry back to the island!

They also serve ice cream which looks great but we never have room

I ordered the small hot lobster roll. It was delicious! I also ordered some fried scallops to go, so I have not eaten them yet. I already know they’ll be amazing because nothing beats fresh seafood!

I ate here on a chilly, fall day, but it was worth it. Very friendly staff. Beautiful view of the marina & the water. Bonus- you can become a Disney princess if the birds are brave enough to take food from your hand.

I had a lovely lunch here with my father. We ordered a garden salad with lobster and fried calamari. We enjoyed sitting outside and looking out to the harbor. The food was tasty, but there were few gluten-free options. The service was a bit slow but good overall. We walked here from the train station, which was a bit tough but well worth it. The location is convenient, with plenty of parking, excellent restrooms, and a lovely gift shop.

We visited for fresh seafood that did not disappoint. We tried a little bit of everything. The lobster bisque was decent. I probably wouldn’t order it again. The stuffie New England clam chowder was AMAZING! Intensely delicious flavors. I was surprised by the fried oysters. I’ve always had them on the shell. These were massive and deep fried, served in a basket. Gooey and delicious!! I don’t even like lobster rolls but I tried my husband’s and it was amazing. The cole slaw is more vinegar than mayo and a little plain. The portions are massive. I didn’t even touch the potatoes that came with my platter.

These wait was quite long, so budget your time accordingly. There were a good 30 people in line before us on a Saturday morning. The line moved and people were served quite effectively. The seating is all outdoors, but there is a covered shelter with picnic tables.

Captain Scott’s is a must visit if you love seafood!

We ordered the fried calamari and lobster roll, both were amazing. The calamari was super crispy and not greasy at all, and the lobster roll was packed with fresh, flavorful lobster. Also, shoutout to their tartar sauce… seriously next level!

The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. It was unfortunately too windy to eat outside, but we ate in our car right in front of the marina and it was still an awesome experience.

Can’t wait to come back!

Its always great when traveling and you stumble into a wonderful culinary experience. Captain Scott’s provided that. I loved the setting by the docks with a view looking west over the boats and docks. But the real star was the fresh food! I ordered NE Clam Chowder and Fish and Chips (Cod). The cod was flakey and perfect! If you are still hungry there is delicious ice cream, and big pieces of pie. I highly recommend trying any of their seafood. It all looked delicious.

This place is great! I’m a big fan of lobster shacks and always try to stop at one when I get the chance. We found this spot while searching for a quick lunch during a drive and it turned out to be lovely. It’s clean and charming with no birds around the tables. They also run a fish market next door which is promising. Most of what we tried was excellent. The New England chowder was rich and delicious, we ordered it in a bread bowl but I’d go for a regular bowl next time since the bread soaked up too much of the soup. Just a personal preference. The clam fritters were amazing: crispy, very flavorful and perfect on their own without any dipping sauce. But the highlight of the meal was the salad with lobster. You can choose it cold or warm. We went with cold and it was incredibly fresh and a true generous portion. Absolutely worth it. The only disappointment was the steamed mussels which were a bit overcooked and served with unsalted clarified butter (why?). I wouldn’t recommend them. All in all a fantastic stop. I would go again.

This was a really nice place! Getting to it was through a little sketchy street but their entire property was very nice. We waited in line maybe 10 minutes on a Thursday afternoon but it felt quicker. The food was delicious! My only complaint was that I ordered the fried shrimp dinner (which says it comes with red potatoes or fries and coleslaw) and asked for no coleslaw. When I got my order it was just the shrimp and no fries or other side dish. I hadn’t chosen to receive my receipt when I paid so I couldn’t double check what I paid for. I went back up and asked the lady at the pickup window and she said it doesn’t come with a side. I pointed to the sign and said it says it comes with fries and coleslaw and I just didn’t want the coleslaw and she just kind of shrugged her shoulders and said sorry but the check they see doesn’t say fries included. Maybe I didn’t pay for the meal and just got some side order of shrimp but I didn’t see that on the menu and for $60 for 2 people it seems like I paid for the meal. Other than that the shrimp and the onion rings my friend had were wonderful! We got ice cream at the end that was also tasty and right in the same building too. Besides that one issue we had an excellent time and would come back.
