We stopped in during their Oktoberfest celebration and were blown away. The German food was spot-on and the beers were excellent — exactly what you hope for at a brewery. The service was perfect from start to finish, friendly and attentive without hovering. The atmosphere hit that sweet spot between lively and relaxed, just what you want from a great tap house and restaurant. Pricing was absolutely fair for the quality. Nothing extra to mention on parking or wait times — it was easy all around. We’d definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great beer and good food, whether you’re a local or just passing through.

We were there a week ago with a medium size group, about 10. We had to ask other servers to have our server get us another round. Took almost 2 hours for everyone to get our food, and the last people to order were the first to get their food 30-40 minutes before the first people to order. Server was non interactive. The famous smoked prime rib had no flavor. 20 bucks would have been sufficient for the bland meal. Took 10 minutes for us to find the server to pay our bill. And still had a mandatory undeserved gratuity charge. Server could have easily made 150$ on cash tips from our group. Place also was not packed. Very disappointing. Worth a try for others but we will not be back for a while. We also waited 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated.

The staff was extremely friendly. One waiter was literally dancing around, smiling and telling jokes. That was really enjoyable. The house made root beer was incredible! The wings I had were great. I would certainly eat here again.

The food has improved since my last visit. The Tiger-que was a good pick, its almost twice as much food as the brisket platter for just a dollar more. The brisket was a little dry but the flavor was good. The Lenten options were delicious too. They should bring back the shrimp Poboy.

Our food was pretty tasty overall. We also had great service from Gabe. We tried a variety of mostly excellent beers. This place is huge!

The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the food was pretty expensive for what it was, though the steak burger was quite nice. We thought the fish and chips and some of the other offerings were a bit pricey.

Still, a fun spot to have beer and enjoy a vintage restaurant vibe.

I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good! I’ve heard people recommend this place for a while, and now I totally get why. The vibe is super cozy and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly nice and attentive.

Our food took a bit longer than expected, but they followed up on it quickly, which I really appreciated. I ordered the fish and chips, fried mushrooms, French fries, and a root beer — everything was seriously delicious! It turned out to be one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while.

If you’re ever in Topeka, this is definitely a must-try spot!

Up until a couple of weeks ago, it had been a Long Time, since I’d eaten at the Blind Tiger.
Two Weeks ago I ordered the ‘Texas Roadrunner’… and WOW ! It was beyond scrumptious !! The BBQ Brisket had an amazing flavor and was so tender… the Chicken Breast could have possibly been a bit ‘dry’, but it was really hard to tell with the melted cheese and sauce, which more than compensated. The food literally melted in my mouth is was soooo good!
Because of this experience, when I was back in town, I had to swing by the BT again, and this time I had the Brisket Platter… which again didn’t disappoint. In fact it was sooo good and filling, I had to take the loaded baked potato home and devoured it for lunch the next day.
If you’ve not been to Blind Tiger for a while, I HIGHLY recommend you go by and check it out! Y U M !!!

I called an order in. They told me 20 minutes. I gave them 15 before heading there and figured I’d wait. It took over an hour after waiting 15 minutes then driving there which was a 10 minute drive. I was told they messed up my fries twice. Proceeded to wait an additional 15 minutes. Overall experience. Food is mediocre at best. Should have got chicken tenders and cheese fries. The price……. Outrageous. Especially after waiting that long. Use to come here all the time. Never had a complaint. My opinion, it’s gone down hill. If you plan on getting a growler order at least 10 minutes ahead of time. I’m going to go choke down this cold mediocre food now. Hope my comment is helpful. Root beer is good though

We had reservations at 7. At that time it was Valentine’s Day evening. There were alot of empty tables in our area. Our server was awesome but how our food came out was horrible. One of our friends ordered a Chicken Caesar salad for his meal. It was brought out first. Then all 5 other meals came a few minutes later separately too. The table beside us ordered after we did all their food came out before ours all together. It was all our first experience eating there. Came recommended by our friends. 2 couples drove 1 1/2 hours away to meet up. Not sure what happened but you also ran out of baked potatoes and mash potatoes Brisket and Burnt ends. We all spent over 300.00 or more combined. Oh ran out of Titos vodka. Seriously I am not sure if or when we will come back. We also know too many people that go there that know owners.

New husband took me for the first time ..he hadn’t been in several years.
I’d heard some questionable reviews bit I stayed open minded.
We were both pleasantly surprised.
Our server was inexperienced but pleasant and attentive.
The food was really delicious, well cooked.
I had the cajun pasta and I can honestly say it’s the best I’ve had in a very long time.
We tried several types of beer and they were all good .
I will say we went for lunch and it wasn’t very busy at all .
The place.is so big I could see how there might be issues if it was a very busy night.
But over all we were very happy and we will be back.
