“We arrived right at the tricky shift change from lunch to dinner service, so it took about 10 minutes (and us asking) before we finally got menus—totally understandable given the timing.
Once things got rolling, the staff were friendly and attentive. The real star, though, was the Cuban steak sandwich: hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly hot, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Worth the visit all on its own!”
(5/5 for the food, slight hiccup on arrival timing that wasn’t really their fault.)
What truly elevates our experience every time is our waitress, Marlene we always hope she’s on shift when we go. She is incredibly attentive, friendly, and has such a great personality that instantly makes us feel welcome. She checks on us just the right amount and makes the whole meal even more enjoyable.
Delicious food, wonderful service, and a cozy, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
I just wanted to PRAISE the magnificent Server Juan Carlos, for his excellent customer service. He was so pleasant & kind with our order. His PERSONALITY radiates making anyone feel so comfortable enjoying & soaking up the atmosphere of this great Cafe/Restaurantm& Bakery. THe food was fantastic, SO Nostalgic & most importantly SPOTLESSS. Team Effort to make this gorgeous spot RADIATE.. I Thank the whole staff for the great experience VERY pleasant!
This Miami staple serves classic Cuban food that is simple, yet beautifully executed.
My husband and I stopped by for breakfast + both ordered the Desayuno Criollo which included eggs (I got scrambled with Swiss + he got scrambled with ham), protein (I got bacon + he got sausage), potato side (he got fries + I got house potatoes which were deliciousssss), cuban bread (very well buttered), and coffee (he got cafe con leche + was able to add his own coffee to his liking + I got a colada). The dish also includes 2 ham croquettas and they were definitely the star of the dish, these was the BEST IN MIAMI. My husband also ordered a single waffle which was simple but still yummy.
Sorry for the bad review, But you guys need to pivot and work on this cuban Classic.
