Absolutely amazing place!! Such a hidden treasure! I came here for lunch for the first time and really wasnt planning on writing a review but yall, I could not resist! Everyone needs to know about this place! The staff was the absolute friendliest and super helpful! The cashier helped me decide what I should order as I am super indecisive. I ended up getting the fried shrimp basket with fries. It came with 3 sauces and one of which I’ve never tried before. The food was hot and fresh! Just cooked to perfection. Afterwards, I went to throw away my trash and sit my dishes on top of the trash can. However, when I stood up, there was a lady which kindly grabbed it from me and did away with it for me. AND she did it with a friendly smile! The menu here is super extensive! They literally offer almost everything! They have tacos, seafood, steak, burgers (not just the basic ones either) and they have so many different appetizers and just way too much for me to list honestly but so very much yall! If yall want it, they got it!! They also have stations everywhere in which youre able to grab and slices from or extras. They also give you your cups and they have a drink station which you can make your drink from which also has so many different options. Im a sweet tea person and their sweet tea was perfect!! The atmosphere here is beyond IT with vibes!! They have so many different unique decor items including vintage items that keeps you lost in looking around admiring it all! I literally had to take a walk around just to see it all! They offer several different rooms inside which you can choose from to enjoy your meal AS WELL AS outside! Outside, they have a closed in area to keep those late night mosquitos away and they even have more tables outside of that if you would like the fresh air. They also offer a small playground for your children to be able to play and enjoy their time while youre able to enjoy a good conversation and meal! You know what else they thought about?! Them furry members of our families too! Thats right, our doggies!! They allow your furry family members to hang out at the outside porch area. They even have a water dispenser and they provide dog bowls out there so the dogs can have them some cold water and enjoy the sunbathing too! They literally thought of everything here! Its a hidden treasure and I highly recommend you and your family to come visit! Amazing job staff here! Thank you for the meal and views and I cant wait to come back again!

Just happened to come across this place, good reviews. So, two visits , first visit..chicken fried steak, pork chops, chicken fried chicken, dessert etc…excited to find a new place. We were checking the food coming out of the window…I noticed the burgers so I decide we needed to come back after amazing first try…I ordered the Bleu cheese burger medium, I like a little pink, we ordered the pot roast, really good and quesadillas, decent..but the burger, overcooked, dry, and like what a burger cardboard burger….I was disappointed…my friends were really disappointed for me since I was hyping it up…I think everything else was on point but damn, I think it’s kinda hard to mess that up..I don’t know why..

The chicken fried steak was HUGE and DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend it! We can’t wait to go back and try something else. Everything on the menu looked so good! I loved the Texas decor inside. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a water station for your dog! We will be back!

Visited for lunch on a weekday, and this place was busy. It felt like many of the guests were regulars, everyone seemed to know the ordering process and how to snag a table. This place is very Texas. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the Love Machine!!

I seen this place on Eat like a Local and I pass it everyday so I decided to try it. I had the Patty Melt with fries. My burger was delicious. My friend said their burger was a little greasy but I ate their half the next and I was good to me. You order at the front and wait for your buzzer to go off. It was pretty quick. Only complaint is I didn’t get to try the Italian cake because they had just closed their registers. We sat outside, which was cool for the evening. I will be back.BTW, the frozen jack n coke was delicious also.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Live Oak Grill, and it truly felt like stepping into a charming small-town mom-and-pop restaurant, which I absolutely loved. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting, with plenty of seating options, including a lovely outdoor patio with a small playground – perfect for families! The ample parking made our visit completely stress-free from the start.
My culinary journey began with the onion rings, and I must say, they were superb! Large, with a perfect crunch and just the right amount of batter, they were an absolute highlight and I highly recommend them. For my main course, I tried the chicken fried steak, and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. The meat was incredibly tasty, and the breading held perfectly without being overly salty. I also sampled the cilantro dressing with a salad, and its fresh, vibrant flavor truly brought the dish to life.
The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Despite a large menu with many options, the dishes I tried were full of flavor and clearly made with care. I liked the style of this place. Its not is what I expected from the name of the place. They had a huge menu. I got a pretty basic bacon.Cheeseburger with delicious sweet potato fries, cooked pergectly. I got a fountain drink and was able to refill my own drink which is always kind of nice. I also got a piece of mexican chocolate cake which was about 7/10. I’d like to try a lot more of the menu.

I stopped by here on a work trip into town. I ended up getting the BBQ cheddar burger with a side of fries. Let me just say, the value of the burgers is fantastic. Everything tasted stellar.
The amount of food you get for the price you pay is amazing as well. I left full and happy. If I’m ever in the area in the future I’ll definitely be stopping by.

Found this place more or less by accident while staying in a hotel just about a mile from the restaurant. It was worth the short drive. Doesn’t look like much from the outside at first glance, but the decor is quaint and rustic. For first timers, you walk in and aren’t sure what the modus opereandi is, but you can either get a menu and go sit down, or look at the menu and order at the counter. They give you a buzzer which goes off when your food is ready. The staff at the order counter and the kitchen counter were very friendly. We both got the chicken fried chicken with white gravy. Yum! The portion was huge and seasoned nicely. The smashed potatoes were great, with pieces of the red peeling with it. The cole slaw had a good flavor, but I would have preferred it to be more creamy. The kids chicken tenders was a portion large enough to feed several children. If you are in the area, I highly recommend The Live Oak Grill

The Chicken Fried Steak and the Chicken Fried Chicken were phenominal. The two sides that came with each one were just as tasty. Each entree came with two sides. We enjoyed the green beans, fried okra and the fried onion rings. The fried onion rings and the fried okra had a slight upcharge and they were worth it. The white gravy we got was dipping heaven, came in a small container. Most places just pour a dab on the steak, makes the steak a little soggy and they don’t give enough…..another thing this place does right! We’ve been here before…14 years ago….why did we take so long to come back for more of these goodies!? They have a nice playground.
