My office had a business dinner at this location! I enjoyed The Top salad w/black bean cakes & vegan ranch-very tasty! The evening weather was perfect to dine on the patio. Our server, Ren, was prompt and polite. I will visit again to try more of the vegan options.

The food was delicious and our server, Tyler, was great! I had the eggplant rollatini and also ordered a side salad, which I wound up taking home because I was too full to eat it (as I wanted to save a little room for key lime pie)! My husband had the mushroom ravioli and added blackened salmon. We shared a piece of Keylime pie for dessert. We loved everything. It was all tasty! I read mixed reviews on the eggplant dish, but I thought it was delicious and would definitely order it again! I am a big eggplant fan! Everything was prepared well and tasty! And the Keylime pie was yummy and made there. We would recommend this place and the items we had!

Bring Everybody here because there is such a great selection of food that even the fussiest folks can find something they’ll like- especially the sushi Pina Colada. Great service, nice patio and a fun vibe makes this a great place to hang out.

The picanha steak is not what one should expect from that type of meat. Save your $35 dollars and get a burger or something. When picanha is prepared and made right it’s the best steak you’ll ever eat. When it’s not, it just tastes like an average to below average NY strip. The sides were great! The main entree was not. Also, quit with the masks already. Especially when taking someone’s order.

We got there just before 5pm. They didn’t seem that crowded but it took about 10 minutes to be seated. The parking situation isn’t too good. You’re lucky if you can find a spot on the street. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We stayed inside since it was kinda warm out. We ordered drinks first. The waiter was friendly. We looked over the menu. The interior was dimly lit. There’s a decent selection of choices on the menu. There is another whole menu for the drinks at the bar; many specialty drinks. We all ordered a meal and the food arrived timely and no complaints. We enjoyed our time at the Top. We’d go back.

The Top has been the place me and my fiancée have spent any of the important events in our lives, and up until now thats been a pretty safe bet. Tues the third, went to celebrate my 50th birthday, was feeling good, so i ordered a 10oz picanha steak cooked well, which normally isn’t too much of a problem. got the steak, it was more of a glob of meat vs anything that resembled a steak. round and kind of thick in the middle, which tasted ok at the onset, but only on the edges where it had been burned the rest of the steak was rare bloody even, and you could see it in the dark. I’m pretty sure this was my punishment for ordering my steak well. We ended up telling the server, Wren, she got us a 35% discount, was super nice about it. i wish that would have been all i had to deal with, but next day at work, start throwing up around 7 am, projectile vomiting by 8. had to get a ride home, where i spent the day in the bathroom getting rid of the rest. Food poisoning from one of the nicer Gainesville restaurants.

Took my family here last weekend and the vibe is so chill with all the local art everywhere. Got the blackened salmon with mushroom gravy on the side instead of regular, and it was spot on. Corn nuggets as appetizer were addictive, dipping sauce is killer. Service was quick even though it was busy, server remembered our drinks without writing down. Place feels like a real downtown spot.
