The selection of hot and cold food we received for our event was outstanding! From peppered steak, meatballs, shrimp scampi, chicken parmigiana, 4 kinds of 3ft hero’s! The food was delicious, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about what our needs were and they EXCEEDED our expectations. Leggios is the go to spot for any catering needs you may have. Unfortunately the photos I have are of half eaten or totally empty trays, the food went so fast I couldn’t get photos quick enough!

I went in and it was so cozy in there, plenty of room to stand without having to breathe down someone’s neck AND they had free fried chicken samples and i could take some home with me in a small Tupperware box!! I went upto the counter and i told Foo i believe is her name and she was super nice about me only having 14 bucks. She helped me decide which item to get to fill me up for the right price. AMAZING SERVICE SERIOUSLY!!! Then there’s the music, god their music taste is amazing. LOVED IT OH MY GOD, if you ever find yourself in long island even just go here bruh you’re gonna be leaving with some good food, not empty pockets and a great vibe!!!

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and it did not disappoint! The egg sandwich was exactly how I wanted. The eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of cheese. Everything tasted high quality and made to order. The portion size was generous and the flavors were spot on.
You can tell they care about what they’re serving — quick service, friendly staff, and exactly what you want from a neighborhood deli. I’ll definitely be back for another breakfast sandwich!

Being a Queens girl, I crave a proper honey turkey & Swiss hero from time to time — and I mean with all the fixings: lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar, extra mayo… the whole vibe.
A couple weeks ago I was out looking for BBQ and ended up coming across Leggio’s Deli in Bay Shore on IG. I quickly realized I’d actually driven past it before, so today I decided to finally stop in. I walked in pretty close to closing time, and I was greeted right away by a young man named Tristan.
Tristan was super helpful — since it was my first time there, he explained all the options and also told me about their Monday and Tuesday special where you can get two heroes for $20. I originally came in for just one, but once I built my sandwich (because I don’t play about toppings ), it made sense — so I grabbed a second hero too.
I was genuinely impressed by the service. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and even though they were closing soon, I didn’t feel rushed at all. When I got home and ate, it was even better — the bread was fresh, everything tasted great… the hero was just perfect.
I’m so happy I found a new sandwich spot where I can get a quality hero at a great price. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently hosted a networking Brunch at my house and had Leggio’s cater for me. A bunch of women in the sunshine we opted for slightly lighter fare and did a beautiful salad and an incredible tray of 1/2 wraps. It was perfect! The variety was great. I found the ingredients to be very fresh and flavorful!
My favorite wrap was the eggplant and mozzarella. OMG!

I’m so glad Leggio’s is back! This deli is a true Bay Shore staple, and walking in felt like stepping back into the best parts of the past. When I was a kid, my grandfather used to bring me here all the time—this was his go-to spot, and now I see why. Coming back as an adult and seeing it open again really brought back some great memories.
The sandwiches are just as incredible as I remember—stacked high, full of flavor, and made with care. I got one of their Italian-style heroes, and it was absolutely perfect. The guys behind the counter were super friendly, and you can tell they really take pride in what they do.
There’s a lot of history here, and it shows—in the food, the vibe, and the way they treat customers. It’s rare to find a place that still feels this personal and this authentic.
So happy to have this spot back in the neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu. Highly recommend!

The food is always fresh and full of flavor, especially the sandwiches. The portions are generous and worth the price. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and service is quick even when it’s busy. The place is clean and has a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend this deli if you’re looking for good food and great service. I love it here!
