This is always my go to steak and shake I love the fast food and how convenient it is. I come all the time, but the drive thru is insane. Completely disappointed I went in today and waited 30 min in the drive thru not to receive my food. I needed up leaving because my lunch hour ran out waiting in a pointless line. Did not get to eat anything. There was only 2 cars in front of me and my car being the last. Not one of us got served in that entire half hour I was in line. This is unacceptable, it’s “fast food” .

2025 update: this location has gone downhill along with the brand itself. Food is mediocre and apparently corporate has aligned with a lot of political stuff I don’t enjoy. Tried the tallow to see if it had more flavor, and it didn’t add anything besides dog whistle confusion to the meal. Sadly, this brand is a no go on every front for me now.
2021 previous review: A little different now that they’ve switched to autonomous touch screen ordering and a slightly slimmed down menu, but still tasty! They seem to have streamlined the menu (no more mushrooms or Swiss cheese) but kept a lot of the favorites. They still have single or double steak burgers with toppings like American cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. They also had the special garlic steak burger which was delicious.
There aren’t the sauces and seasonings on the tables anymore, but they still have ketchup available.
The shake menu is still extensive which is great! The food came out quickly and was well prepared. I do miss some of the old flavors they had but I understand restaurants need to change to stay afloat. It’s clean and welcoming and the self-ordering makes things much faster.

Everytime I go to this location I order the same thing in the past I’ve always had issues with them
Putting cheese on my burger but Ms Dee has been so hopefully and so friendly I literally ask for her when I come to this location she always gets my order done right just how I like it with no cheese and amari in drive thru is always helpful and amazing when I go through drive thru. Both very great workers. Def made my experience here better but I would say all of them are very helpful just need to be careful with the burgers with and without cheese.

So the burger was actually really good. But the thing that got me was the beverage bar. You need your receipt to scan in order for the soda to unlock it’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen! Apparently I threw my receipt out because I didn’t know I needed to unlock the machine. So I’m digging in the trash to find it. I couldn’t locate it and by the grace of god the manager allowed a worker to fill my cup.but the whole experience really threw me off from ever wanting to return here. Nd like I said the food is actually quite good. Really fresh like they cook to order which is really a rare thing nowadays!

As much as I love Steak n Shake; this particular one is not the environment I’m used to. No seating at the counter to watch the Steak burgers being made and eat a counter meal. Your order is done by a computer terminal. Feels weird and cold. I’ll use the drive thru from now on. The fried were not cooked properly. I ordered the triple steak burger combo and the large fries were undercooked and wilting. They can do better. Like Boynton Beach or Davie.

Steak and shake and a mixed time is to be expected. When you do get the food it is always fantastic, When you finally get your drinks they are always great. But unfortunately the service is probably the worst out of any steak and shake I have ever been to. Maybe they were just understaffed, but there was definitely little attention to our table. Timed everything and it took 17 minutes to get one refill, and 43 minutes to get the actual food after ordering it.

Amazing spot for east coast “In and Out” so to speak. It doesn’t have an outdoor section for eating but it is in a great location. The refill system is very “new age” by scanning a bar code on your receipt to fill your drinks.
Pretty clean. I wish the workers were more attentive in the dining area but otherwise a great spot for reasonably priced burgers and fries.

The service wasn’t ridiculously horrible, but these girls didn’t speak English, so it wasn’t easy ordering. On top of that, we ordered to go, and the sprites were seltzer water. They aren’t paying attention to the counters or machines, and we can’t just pick up and drive back to return it and get our money back because we live way too far. These are some of the simplest things to pay attention to in a restaurant especially when there is no traffic. Disappointing…

Steak burgers were awesome! All fresh ingredients made to order. The beef tallow fries taste just like McDonalds fries used to before they decided to change it. Those beef tallow fries are so good.
The shake was sooo good as well, thick and creamy and the straw was nice and big.
The place was clean. The manager went around to check that all the customers were satisfied.
