A nice little taco truck in the heart of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. On a day like today—when a furious storm swept through town, leaving people stranded and flash floods shut down the main streets—La Carreta stood strong, open, and serving up hot, spicy food.
Seeing the truck from a distance brought a sense of relief and comfort. In that moment, just knowing there was food cooking and ready to eat was more than enough.
I have no criticism this time—because truthfully, when no one else was open during the storm, you were. And you had food ready.

Such a gem!! Really great service and fabulous food. Stopped here on our way through town and ordered a burrito and their mini quesadillas, they were superb! We also had guac and it was super fresh and a generous portion. Huge fans.
