I had the double cheeseburger combo. Price was good, food was fresh with fresh ingredients. Fries were hot and crispy, and drink was satisfying. Overall food, atmosphere, and service was great. I went on a Sunday around 1 so parking was great. Plenty of parking space.

A true Texas original and a must visit if you are in the Austin area. They have great hamburgers and ice cream which are great on a hot Texas day. Great location in downtown Austin near Auditorium Shores and The Long Center for the Performing Arts.

We really wanted a shake and fries at 10pm and Sandy’s did not disappoint. We ordered strawberry shake with Oreos with a chocolate shake and some fries and a corn dog.
Forgot to take pictures because we drank and ate everything really fast. All of it was delicious. Don’t forget to order your shakes with malt.
The service was quick and friendly. We really appreciate yall!

I was staying nearby and this place had tons of reviews so I stopped by. It was a good burger! I enjoy it and I’m glad I went, I’d eat here again. I got the double with cheese.
Forgot to take the pic before eating.

Seems to always be a long line, so I thought I’d try this place out. Although the line seemed long it only took about 10 minutes to get through. Ordered a combo and it was good! Will have to go back to try their ice cream. Highly recommend. Quick service and order was correct.

It is a small little Burger joint that offers American favorites: burgers, fries, shakes, cones. It has an old retro style, picnic tables for eating and matching mood music. Although it wasn’t the “worlds best burger,” it was pretty darn good. Fries were great too! We wanted to have ice cream but we were full. The hand dipped cones we saw looked delicious! I wouldn’t put too much thought into the 2 and 3 star reviews from “expert” guides. The long, constant lines speak for themselves!

You just walk up to the window, place your order, and they call out your number when it’s ready. So easy and SO GOOD! A classic burger place that gives you huge portions, delicious juicy burgers, and they even do dipped cones. What else could you want?

My burger was poorly prepared. I ordered a double meat and cheese + bacon + everything on it. My burger only had the two patties and bacon in it. Nothing else on it. No cheese, no lettuce, no pickles, no tomatoes, nothing, dry. I unfortunately was not able to ensure my order was done as I ordered since I had to leave right away. It was very busy at the time I ordered so I understand confusions and mistakes. I’d definitely come back and try this place again though, because I was treated very well by staff and regardless of mistakes, the burger was good. I’d just recommend to double check orders before with customers sending them to the kitchen and before giving them to the customers.

Sandy’s is a must-try burger place in Austin. While Austin boasts many delicious burger joints, Sandy’s distinguishes itself with its old-fashioned burgers. The patty size is perfectly matched to the bun, and they use fresh tomato slices instead of ketchup. Each bite is filled with fresh ingredients. Plus, the service is fast. Their dipped cone is the perfect dessert after the meal. Highly recommended!
