We loved this place tonight! By far the best hibachi in Jesup. The steamed buns were perfect. We also had the crab Rangoon and pork gyoza. Everything was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Don’t let the outside fool you, this Japanese spot is a hidden gem. Inside, it’s clean, welcoming, and the ramen? Incredible. Creamy, balanced broth, tender chicken, perfectly cooked noodles, and just the right kick from the chili oil. Takoyakis are the bomb! Edamames are always hot and perfectly salted . Even the mochi ice cream hit the spot. Hands down, best ramen in the area!

My husband and I usually make a stop here on our trip to Jekyll Island. We’ve been coming here even pre pandemic. It was great at first, but now…. it’s gone downhill. The only thing that you can get here that it’s good is the bubble teas and the egg custard bun… Everything else is honestly just microwaved….. it was a good hole in the wall when we found it…unfortunately it isn’t anymore. The staff is still very attentive, though.
I got the golden beef curry…the curry was veerrrry waterly and the beef was dry and definitely microwaved.
The Thai tea was good though.
I’m not sure if they do this for every guest that dines in but at the end of our early dinner they brought out some orange sponge cakes that weren’t bad.

Formerly Yummicup restaurant has new owners, new expanded menu, new updated interior look and new name. It is now known as Aroma Ramen & Hibachi. At lunch we received really good service, really good food and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with an owner! We especially appreciate the expanded Asian menu. Highly recommend Aroma Ramen & Hibachi.

We were looking for somewhere close by and new to try tonight for my husband’s birthday. I stumbled upon this gem while browsing restaurants on Google. Absolutely, 100% worth it!
From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, but looks are definitely deceiving.
We came in pretty late, at 7:10, and they close at 8 (on Wednesday). We dont typically go to places that close to closing, but we really wanted to try it out.
The woman who served us was fantastic. I think she may have been the owner? I’m not sure, but she was lovely.
We started with steamed buns because that’s what we went there for specifically.
#2, Egg Custard: 4.8/5. Really good, just different than what I expected! Sweet and light in flavor.
#4 BBQ Pork: 5/5. Loved these! Perfect combination of savory and sweet!
#5 Shrimp Shumai. Essentially steamed mini dumplings.5/5. Loved the flavor, texture and sauce!
Entrée:
Chicken with white rice and golden curry sauce: 4.5/5. Very, very mild in spice and flavor. It was delicious, I was just thinking a little more zip. Everything was perfectly cooked!
Beef Nooodles with Brown Sauce: 5/5. I LOVED this. The flavors were amazing. That sauce, I wanted it on everything. I actually added it to the golden curry. So, so good!
Complimentary oranges at the end of the meal!
10/10 place. We can’t wait to go back and try mochi and other dishes!

The food from Aroma was wonderful, we got hibachi, the steak was seasoned and cooked extremely well and the shrimp are huge and definitely fresh not frozen. However, the portion sizes are not very big and the lady who took our order was nice but also seemed uninterested in working.

We’ve wanted to try Yummicup for a while now and decided today was the day. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. A wonderful variety of menu options to choose from. All of the dishes we tried were flavorful and authentic. We will definitely make this a regular option in our eating out options!

I can’t believe we have waited so long to try this place! We got takeout and everything was delicious. The hibachi steak was the most tender of anywhere. My husband said it was like filet mignon.
