Took our daughter here before going to the Bass performance hall, Service was stellar! We loved our waitress, she was prompt and kind and the other staff was too! We had really good martinis, the appetizer was the crab stuffed jalapeños, Good but not great, I also got the special blackened red snapper and like the appetizer it was missing flavor and not much sauce and or spinach. Both my husband’s filet and my daughter’s chicken fried steak were good but they did not love that they placed the meat on top of a plate of mashed potatoes . Desert was amazing!!!!! peppermint crème brûlée! A holiday must! Overall it was good just not great.

Had dinner with my wife on Sunday night. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. The server knew his stuff. He explained the feature dishes so well. I took his recommendations and was not disappointed. I am a restaurant operator I have very high standards when it comes to restaurants I dine at. I was impressed. Will be coming back and will definitely recommend this place to others.

Wow! We had an incredible meal here. There was $10 valet right outside the entry way. Hostess and staff were SUPER friendly. We started at bar table and had a drink. Then went to our table. Everyone loved their meal, and we each ordered something different. I had the carne asada with cheese enchiladas and it was excellent. My husband ordered their special that day, a surf and turf.
Definitely recommend the Texas 75 Martini- I love french 75s and this was a martini version and really good! Would definitely eat here again for another special occasion!

On a short visit to Fort Worth, locals pointed us toward Reata. From start to finish, the whole experience was downright spectacular. They kicked things off with bread, butter, and little scones so good I could’ve polished off the whole basket. The Tenderloin Tamales starter had a unique spin—tasty for sure, even if it wasn’t my personal favorite.

When it came to the main event, I told the server the kind of steak I was after, and he steered me right to the Blackened Buffalo Ribeye with Cook’s Butter. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked just the way I like it. Even the veggies and potatoes had that “made with care” flavor that had me cleaning my plate, big portion or not.

We wrapped up this Texas feast with the Strawberry Cheesecake Crème Brûlée—a creative twist on dessert that was as sweet as a Texas sunset. The restaurant itself had that true Texas-style charm in its design, which tied the whole experience together perfectly.

Will I go back to this restaurant?
Reata isn’t just dinner, it’s a full-on Texas experience I’d come back for any day.

We booked a Friday night dinner for two and I’m glad we did, Reata gets packed, and for good reason. From start to finish, the experience was excellent.

We ordered the bone-in pork chop, blackened buffalo ribeye, and bacon-wrapped shrimp, and every dish was outstanding. The meats were cooked perfectly tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The grits deserve a special mention too: creamy, rich, and the perfect complement to the entrées.

The highlight of the night, though, was our lovely server Morgan. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She explained each dish with confidence and made thoughtful recommendations. When she presented the dessert options, we were already full but the way she described and showed the desserts convinced us to try the crème brûlée, and wow… no regrets. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to the meal.

To top it all off, the team surprised us with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. It truly made the evening extra special.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and truly outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back.

Recently dined at Reata for a birthday dinner on a Saturday for brunch/lunch. We made a reservation but since we got there at 2pm it was not busy due to their kitchen closes at 2:45 to prepare for dinner.

Appetizers – we order the large massive onion rings and tamales, which were open faced and stuffed. The onion rings and tamales could have been a meal.

Lunch- I couldn’t decide between club sandwich and tortilla soup, lucky for me you can pick two. So I was able to have the best of both worlds, but was only able to eat the soup was stuffed with chicken, avocado and tortillas. The 1/2 club was huge, my sister had the salmon and vegetables which was amazing.

Parking – You park right across the street for $20 hours or on Saturdays park for free on the street or in the parking garage across the street!

Cocktails – I had the millionaire margarita and moscato, my sister had the speciality drink which was a white peach sangri, that was delicious.

They may night have the high rise views anymore, but it’s nice to be able to sit on patio or at window people watch.

Great food!!!! Our server (Kaylie) was the best. The new location isn’t as nice as the original, but the food and service was on point. Went for lunch on a Saturday, so parking was free in a nearby garage
We will return!

I asked my parents to take me here for my TCU graduation dinner and I was very happy with my choice!!

It felt like the perfect wrap up on my time living in Texas. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very “Texas” and rustic, featuring interesting Western decor and historical touches/information, but not overwhelming.

We all loved our food! My steak was delicious, as were my vegetables! I also had a dessert, which I thought was PHENOMENAL!

I highly recommend Reata!

I recently visited Reata Restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing on multiple levels. From the moment I arrived, the customer service left much to be desired. The staff appeared visibly frustrated and disengaged, giving off an unwelcoming and unpleasant energy. It felt as though there was little interest in providing a positive dining experience, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit.

To make matters worse, the restaurant was out of basic items, including rice, which was a central part of my order. Despite the missing components, I was still charged full price for my meal, which felt both unfair and unprofessional. Additionally, other products seemed inconsistently stocked, suggesting a lack of proper inventory management or attention to operational details.

The food itself was another major letdown. It lacked proper seasoning and flavor, resulting in dishes that were bland and uninspiring. It was clear that little care had been put into preparation, and the overall quality did not justify the price. Combined with the poor service, the dining experience felt rushed and unthoughtful.

The restaurant environment also contributed to the disappointment. Cleanliness appeared to be an issue, with certain areas looking untidy and poorly maintained. It was difficult to feel comfortable or enjoy the meal in such a setting.

Overall, I would not recommend Reata Restaurant. Between the lack of inventory, poorly seasoned food, subpar customer service, and cleanliness concerns, the experience was far below expectations. Significant improvements are needed across multiple areas—particularly in food quality, inventory management, staff training, and overall cleanliness—before this restaurant can be considered a reliable dining option.
