Couldn’t decide between seafood or the bbq chicken, I picked the bbq chicken because it was the most recommended. It did not disappoint. Fresh, juicy, flavorful, and big portion that can be shared by 2 people. And you will be served with complementary delicious chickpea salad and bread. I loved my authentic Portuguese food experience! Definitely recommend this welcoming, authentic, and underrated Portuguese restaurant.

The owner is very kind and the food was great! I loved their complimentary bread, chickpeas and butter, and their steak and cod fish were really good! The cod fish was a bit on the saltier side but if you eat it with the potatoes that come with it, it balances it out . Also, the portions are really huge!

I was initially kinda scared to go in cause the place is a small convenience store in the front. I’m so glad I decided to eat there cause the food was damn delicious. Portions are huge, food is super tasty, service is great. The only issue is the place is literally the back part of a convenience store so if you can look past that you’ll enjoy some of the best Portuguese food around.

The appetizers, Bolinho de Bacalhau (Cod cake) and Rissois de Camarao (Shrimp cake), each encased in a golden, crispy shell, were a study in contrasts. What an unexpected gem. We were unsure when we pulled up. It looks like a convenience store from the outside. Hidden behind a little wall, we found some delicious food with large portions! We tried new foods and are so happy we did. There is no parking lot and parking on the street is sparse, but if you can find a way inside, the food was great. They recommended the chicken and it did not disappoint. The fish and chips, which were okay. The salmon was good. A favorite at the table was a complimentary garbanzo bean dish. I would go back for that alone. Those three meals fed four hungry people with leftovers. It is nothing fancy, but it was filling and delicious.

I just love getting their food. My dad would always get us their Chicken ( Frango) when we would come to Ma to visit. He has since passed and we always make that our stop 2 years later. Hidden gem. You cannot find places like this in other parts of the country. I come from San Francisco and the line would be out the door and double the price.
