My husband and I stopped by Papous Pita for a Friday date night, and it was fantastic! The owner greeted us so warmly and even gave us extra sauces and drinks on the house. Our gyros (lamb & beef for me, chicken for him) were fresh, flavorful, and packed full. The fries with oregano and salt were perfect (they were a special on that night). Easily our favorite Greek spot in Biddeford; we’ll definitely be back!

A hole in the wall type of place, but oh so good. Fresh and fluffy pita, very fresh ingredients. Super friendly owner and staff. If you get a gyro to go, ask for sauce on the side. You will need napkins no matter what, it is worth it!

Papous Pita in Biddeford is unreal. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful Greek food, this place nails it every single time. The Mediterranean chicken rice bowl is honestly the best thing on earth. It’s perfectly prepared, packed with flavor, and always fresh. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and everything tastes homemade. Easily one of my favorite spots in town.

The food is fresh, delicious, and the service is very friendly. The prices are good for the area they’re in, and definitely worth it. I have stomach issues and often times can’t eat foods in restaurants either due to high content in oil, spices and various reasons, but we ordered the Mediterranean chicken rice bowl and Papous chicken pita sandwich and both were delicious.
The baklava was perfect. The layers were crunchy, and the syrup blended well with the taste, a lovely compliment.
My wallet did complain that the prices, especially for the can of coke were too high, but for good food and the portion size it’s really not that bad. Enjoy !!

Great lunch spot, stopped in on a whim and it did not disappoint! Owner was very nice and it was very clean inside with quick service. The pita wrap with the special lemon garlic chicken was so flavorful, the tzatziki was delicious and the grilled pita bread was so good. I would’ve taken a picture but I ate it too quickly! Will definitely be going back to try other menu options and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Came in late one evening from out of town with the family. The man behind the counter was so kind and generous and literally made us feel at home, even though it was getting close to closing. The food was very good as well- tomatoes were crisp and red, even though it was the end of the day. So glad we stumbled on this place, would come back again.

A little pricey for gyro but honestly worth it. One of the best I’ve had, anywhere. The pita was fresh. The lamb and beef gyro was exceptional and my wife loved the chicken.

Just had lunch here for the second time ever, and it is quickly become one my favorite spots in Biddeford for lunch. The guy running the restaurant is very kind and personable, and the pita sandwiches are lovely. What put me over the edge into “I need to review this place” was that he is just giving out free drinks to everyone who is ordering food here today. Anyway, I highly recommend this one, both for the vibe, and the food!
