I am an NYC native and had to hop to NJ to grab Bubbakoo’s. One of my favorite places for Mexican fusion cuisine so when I found out they we here, in Lansing, Mi, I raced to get there. My favorite burrito is the Papa Hibachi, with steak and shrimp, and ofcourse added chips, guac and queso. Phenomenal food per usual, with an equally Phenomenal staff. Considering its been open a short time I could not tell. Fast, very clean store & bathrooms were sparkling clean. You will not be disappointed should you try Bubbakoo’s Burritos .

Okay this place is so good! Its like qdoba or Chipotle but much better! I went yesterday during their training and had them make me a giant bbq grilled chicken burrito (made to my liking) and the flavor was MUCH better than the other restaurants that are similar. After they made my food and I went and ran to 2 other stores afterwards. I got home about 45 minutes later and my food was still hot and to my surprise the burrito wasn’t soggy either. The employees were welcoming with warm personalities and seem to be working well as a team. Bubbakoo’s was recommended to me by my coworkers and I have no regrets! Delicious food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I got the papi hibachi burrito (steak & shrimp) and added chipotle crema and guac. Everything was fresh and the employees/management were nice. The have a ton of options including some that are online only. I got $5 off for signing up for their loyalty program which was a nice bonus. I did not dine in, but the place was very clean from what I could see. Lots of windows because it’s in the old steak and onion spot in Frandor. Will definitely go back!

Food is great, IF they get your order right…have been there 3 times now, all from the app. First time, they messed up some parts of the order, but it was 2 days after they opened, forgivable. But this last time, I ordered a DIY burrito, wanted to try their birria meat, and they FORGOT THE MEAT! How?!?
However, the food itself is quite good, they have loads of sauce/salsa options and interesting menu items, and some weird stuff like General Tso’s sauce and tater tots. It’s a fusion place. Their “classic ground beef tacos” are some of the best “American homestyle” tacos I’ve had, total comfort food. But you can get more traditional onion+cilantro tacos as well with a soft tortilla.
If you go, I recommend ordering in person, so you can make sure they’re getting the ingredients right. Otherwise, very decent place with an interesting menu.

Tried Bubbakoos for the first time and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Fresh food, fantastic flavor and the service was beyond exceptional! I had the build your own chicken burrito with both Tater tots and fries! All taste exactly as I envisioned when I ordered. Will 100% be back and cannot wait to try more of the menu!

Food was decent, but very pricey. Hard to justify charging double what Chipolte charges for quest (and charging for guacamole), especially whe. Qdoba gives you both for free! Paid almost $50 for 3 burrito bowls! Was able to get two meals out of one bowl, and it was quite good heated up the next day!

Burritos were great, chips and queso were tasty, and customer service was wonderful. We had a little bit of a wait during the dinner rush but the entire staff was nice, kept in touch with us and threw in some extra chips for our delay. We will be back!

Been waiting for this place to open! I got a crispy chicken with pineapple salsa and General Tso sauce. So amazing! And HUGE! The kids working were having a good time and the place was clean. Make sure you give them a try!

The burritos are yummy. You can add lots of yummy things inside. They have curly fries that are crispy and fun to eat too.
They have a sauce called Boom Boom sauce and it tastes very good and spicy on your food.

NJ native here and man am I happy to see this place make it out to MI! Growing up in NJ this was my spot, I love the crispy chicken with buffalo sauce. Would definitely recommend folks to try this place, they have amazing food and creative combos. I’m not sure it’ll ever get old.
