9/10 times this is actual garbage. I’ve been a student here for two years and there have been numerous roaches and mice seen on top of inedible food at times and virtually no fresh options. Aside from move-in week when they temporarily got things together for parents to see, there is usually little to no staff and the food sits out ALL DAY.

If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Starting from the service is terrible, they try to treat us as if we were not paying, there are days when there is almost no food and when you try to order takeout they always want to charge you more than what it is.

Since coming to UMSL, this place has only gone more and more downhill. Dead roaches littered the floor for weeks, meaning the probably didn’t even mop the floor for awhile. They ask customers to bus the tables for them. Food can come out quickly or take absurdly long. And food quality greatly depends on who is in the kitchen that day, ranging from good to trash. Only eat here if your a student.

I’ve been a student at UMSL for about 5 years and my experience with the dining hall has been largely negative. With them cutting back our hours and cutting back on our food options it’s gotten unbearable. The place is drab place to eat.

Middle of the road dining. Wouldn’t reccomend eating here unless you live on campus. Even then, going to The Nosh at the Millennium Student Center is a better option. Quality of the food greatly depends on whose in the kitchen.
