Formerly the classic Backroads Food and Spirits, community leaders have taken it over and are currently putting a fresh coat of paint on the old girl. While still retaining the same classic charm that has served the Amboy and Yacolt area for years, our team is bringing a menu with the same great classics and new menu items that are sure to please! The food and drinks are excellent, the spinach artichoke dip with peta bread slices was the best dip we’ve had! The Don Sandwich is A+!! Amazing meatball sub I’ve ever had as well, the food here is just fantastic and Shannon is very attentive and awesome, great place.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and food here! The bartender /server was really busy but still attentive and friendly. We ordered the spinach dip and a spicy pizza. I can’t remeber what it was called. The country cooler drink was bomb too. We’ll be back for sure!

Didn’t get any pizza but Got the loowit Burger. Man it was awesome, about 19 bucks for the meal but 22 in total. Not really too many tots I got with the meal but let me tell you, the burger was high tier. The beef tasted grass-fed or authentic, not the cheap stuff for sure. It wasnt a lot of food, but the burger is heavier and I would say one of the top 3 restaurant burgers I’ve personally ever had. If I wasn’t as broke as I am now, I’d be going here every week, good job backroads. I recommend this restaurant to everyone

Amazing place and amazing pizza!!! Stopped by after riding the Chelatchie train, perfect place to stop for lunch! They accommodated our large group and our waitress Taylor was wonderful and attentive. Definitely would recommend!!!

I just have to learn my lesson about this place even though it’s one of two restaurants in this town. Today they over charged by $8 then said they couldn’t make a receipt to look at and the food was cooked really badly, only half was edible, plus they forgot to send sauces.

I came here to see what I could eat pizza wise, I was struggling picking something, but then my amazing server Taylor recommended Tacos since it was Taco Thursday, I happily got some, ate three, and they were DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be coming back whenever I visit Yacolt.

Great atmosphere, family friendly with brand new pool table. Very nice outdoor seating with corn hole and spacious seating All dough is made in house and is simply delicious! All of the pizza can be made into calzones which are huge and evenly filled Slightly different hours because they are a little short staffed but everything was great when we went. Owner came to check on us personally and is very hospitable. I live in Vancouver but I genuinely hope to be back soon!
