Our family has been coming to Dos Palmas for over 30 years. The food is always great and consistent. The staff could not be any better. They’ve known my daughter since I was carrying her and she is 21. We literally sit down for breakfast and don’t have to order as they already know what we want. Love this place and the family that owns them.

A recent review by Selvin Valiente, was totally off base. The one star review does not reflect this great Cuban restaurant – cafeteria. I have been going to this cafeteria for 24 years and it is the best in the Falls area. The blonde as he stated, is one of the hardest working individuals and enjoys interacting with their long-standing customers. If. Selvin Does not understand the friendly interaction between customers, and the staff, this is not a place for him.

So I was looking for a spot for some Cuban cuisine. My barber recommended this place and… Boy was I upset. Got there, looks like it was a sandwich spot. Got the steak sandwich, the taste was extremely bland. I wanted to try the Shrimp Creole (my go to when I’m on ocean drive) the shrimp taste as if it was just thawed
And put into a bowl of tomato sauce. I’ve tasted better TV dinners.
Side Note: when I ordered the shrimp Creole, they came with a friend chicken breast…. Boy, this place was spewing with insults.
If I can give this spot less than a star… I most definitely would.

Food is consistently good . however compared to all the surrounding restaurants the prices kept going creeping up and the portions are minimal. And the worst is being charged more at checkout then the menu , which they always justify…,,

Great food at a great price! Daily specials always changing and wonderful Hispanic staff! Very family like restaurant and Yes the owner and his children wife are always on site. My Family loves this place from my mother to my daughter this is are go to lunch spot! Busy hours from 11 30 to about 1 30 since this is in a warehouse district don’t let that detour you it worth it large portions and again a great price!!!! I love las dos Palmas
