Wonderful food and service with a cozy atmosphere. Staff was great and sang to my daughter on her birthday. Everyone loved the evening and we had a great time. Definitely worth every penny. And be mindful, you will be taking food home with you. At least the ladies did..

My daughters and I visited Monte Azul in Staples for a margarita, we got some delicious Mexican food while we were there, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The vibe is great, the service was really good, and the food was excellent.
I love high quality and authentic Mexican cuisine, and Monte Azul delivers on both. The street tacos, slightly spicy and bursting with flavor, were delicious and satisfying. And there was a tasty bean burrito and other good meatless options for the vegetarians among us.
It’s a colorful and friendly setting, and the prices are fair. I’d go back tomorrow!

Food was great! But felt very uncomfortable when having the Waitress turn after taking your order, speaking a different language. Them speaking Spanish was very uncomfortable for Our table. They spoke to each other in another language to each other. But they could speak English because they talk to us in English. Food was good, but they associated to each other in another language.

tl;dr – Worth it. Pretty basic. Has all the regular offerings and good value for the portions/flavors.
Traveling for work. Had lunch here. Not many people present and the staff were sitting in a booth with friends or family when I walked in, so I felt like I was disrupting their time. Was seated and offered free chips/salsa and asked if I wanted cheese dip or guac too. Opted for the cheese dip. They arrived immediately.
Ordered the burrito off the lunch menu and was expecting a smaller burrito but this thing was as large as chipotle and came with a healthy amount of lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and sour cream on the side. It was covered in the cheese sauce (so next time I would opt for the guac with the chips instead since the same cheese sauce was on the burrito). They had many proteins to choose from and I selected al pastor and it was flavorful.
Atmosphere is the basic Hispanic/Mexican signs, colors, décor and clean. The only thing that was missing was there was no music playing. It was dead silent so every sound echoed. It would have been nice to have music playing so I didn’t think I was being a loud eater.
This is definitely a safe place to go when in town.
