Took almost hour to our food.
Sushi rolls were terrible, did not eat.
Soup was so hot it burned my mouth, the must of microwaved for 10 minutes instead of 1 minute.
Service terrible. We just paid and left.

The food has changed since they moved into the building. The food truck was 100% better quality. I just spent $70 on 3 chicken hibatchi dinners with no flavor. The salad dressing has changed and now has some sort of textured bits in it. It doesn’t taste bad, just bizarre. The chicken, vegetables, and rice were bland. I could’ve made this at home for a lot less than $70. Not sure what happened, but I will no longer recommend or return.

Customer service is terrible. Ordered a pick up order here a few weeks ago and will not be returning. Whoever i spoke to on the phone was very rude and was irritated the whole time I was placing my order and immediately hung up the phone after telling me the price. I ordered an egg drop soup, sushi, and egg rolls. The egg drop soup and sushi were pretty good but the egg rolls were terrible. My biggest issue is the customer service, i ordered my food and showed up 20 minutes later to pick up my order. Waited another 20 minutes in the pickup line with no acknowledgment from the staff other than them occasionally glaring at me through the window. After waiting the additional 20 minutes I went inside to wait for my order to find that the restaurant was completely empty and the staff was just sitting around and once again didn’t even acknowledge me coming into the building. One employee did go in the back to grab my food, which was already getting cold by the time they gave it to me. I understand restaurants can be busy and stressful working environments however as a first time customer it was not a very welcoming environment to walk into and based off the customer service alone I would not recommend this restaurant.

Some of the worst service you could ever have a restaurant. My wife ordered two sushi rolls and two eggrolls and was told it would be 20 minutes which is fine. She arrived 20 minutes later and was ignored for 10 minutes in their pick up line. After telling the owner she had placed an order 30 minutes ago she was told “you and everyone else” and was ignored again. When they did finally acknowledge her the order was wrong. Will not be returning here.

Came in for dinner and sat down and was told to find a seat and they would be with us shortly, after waiting 20 min with no acknowledgement we got up to leave and the comment my wife and I got as we walked out is they were in the back hunched down so we didn’t see them. Took an hour and 20 minutes to get our food all people got food at different times. My daughter ordered filet and she got over cooked steak, sent it back got filet, RAW! My son in law NEVER got his food and my husbands shrimp tasted like bleach. Needless to say, no one ate and it was TERRIBLE!

I gave this place a shot, but it missed the mark. For the expensive price tag I expected better.
Service: The service was slow. Our seat was not clean & she brought napkins for us rather than cleaning it for us. We had to ask a different server for our drinks.
Food: The egg drop soup was a bit wattery. There was no miso. The clear soup tasted off, like plastic maybe. The salad was tasty. We both ordered hibachi. The rice was ok, but not fantastic. I really liked the shrimp & chicken, but the scallops were so overcooked that I couldn’t even cut them with my fork. I did really enjoy the Ninja Balls.
Atmosphere: It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t very nice either. Very simple decor. The tables are not nice at all, coated in plastic with bubbles underneath and no tablecloths. The bowls are plastic. Just not the quality I would expect for a place charging what they do.
Overall, it was overpriced & there were issues with the food, service, and atmosphere. For an entrée and one appetizer, and just water, we paid about $100. I would rather go somewhere else for that price.

I called in a to go order last night and was quoted around 20 minutes. I went inside to pick up and had to wait and almost additional 30 minutes on top of what I was originally told, not to mention the order was also wrong. The waitresses were extremely rude and unhelpful and kept arguing amongst themselves in front of customers. The woman who I assume is the owner also has a terrible attitude and doesn’t seem to care about her customers at all.

We absolutely love dining at Hibachi Ninja!! Great family atmosphere where the food is always on point! The shrimp fried rice is one of my favorites long with the customizable poke bowl. The egg drop soup is always a must anytime we are there and the sushi is the best in Diamondhead.
