I visited this place for the first time and I fall in love with it. The interior is really nice with characteristics of Thailand tradition on the wall. The food feels very homely and authentic. Pineapple Duck Curry met my expectation. It was crispy and flavorful. Pad See Ew is delicious and Mango salad with Soft Shell Crab is sweet and tangy. Salmon with eggplants are delectable.

A small, cozy, and family-owned business, this place is a true hidden gem. They have a wide variety of Thai food (vegan and non-vegan options) that are all made fresh to order. All dishes are delicious and aesthetically pleasing.

We had a great lunch here! Started with the shrimp rolls — crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked shrimp inside. For mains, I had the Basil Fried Rice with beef (so flavorful!), and we also shared the Drunken Noodles with boneless chicken — the texture and flavor were spot on.

My daughter ordered the Tamarind Duck with rice. I’m not usually into duck, but it was surprisingly good — and she loved it! She also tried Thai milk tea for the first time and couldn’t get enough. When she didn’t finish it, the kind man helping us offered to put it in a to-go cup — such a thoughtful gesture.

The service was warm and welcoming from the second we walked in. Definitely a Thai spot I’d recommend, and we’ll absolutely be back!

We absolutely love this place and feel so lucky to have it in the neighborhood. The thai fried rice is the best we’ve ever had and everything there is delicious. The staff are wonderful

Great neighborhood spot for Thai food! We decided to walk in to Thai Tree after voting in the hottest Election Day that ever was, and they did not disappoint.

Server was friendly and quick, always kept our waters full, and he was knowledgeable about what could be made vegan or not.

Sadly the papaya salad can’t be made vegan, but we had plenty of other options. Portions were huge; we both ended up packing up leftovers of our noodles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to coming back! Next time we’ll remember to save room for dessert

Biked by here by accident and saw the great reviews. I initially feared they were fake, but so glad I stepped in. The place is fantastic (and I’m known to my friends as being uber critical about food).

My typical go-to’s are Somtum Der and Pranakhon – if you like those, you’ll love this place. Drunken noodles were the best I’ve had anywhere in the city – and I’ve tried many.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves it. Can’t wait to come here with a bunch of friends so we can try the entire menu.

i tried this place once in 2022, and i didn’t like the food. tried again recently to give it a second go, but it’s still not good. the workers seem nice, the decor is cool, but the food feels inauthentic — americanized or white washed? and with so many amazing thai restaurants in nyc, thai tree unfortunately doesn’t match up with its competitors. 🙁

the food was unfortunately underseasoned, undercooked, and slathered in oil. my drunken noodles taste mostly of bell peppers, and the noodles are pale like barely seasoned. my partner and i got the same dish with same spiciness, but they tasted different and had different spice levels.

i expected the lunch special soup to be tom yum like other places, but it was basically chicken soup out of the can with some veggies. the thai iced tea was a nice size but it tasted mostly of cream/milk, not tea.

Although the guy who helped me was nice.. but I didn’t like the initial vibe. The woman employee seating wished the white couple before me good bye and thank you when they were leaving, yet nothing to me when I was leaving. That’s discrimination against non-binary POC… needless to say I won’t be back since respect is non-negotiable. Thank God there are lots of LGBTQ and POC-friendly Thai restaurants in NYC

I got the Thai iced tea, the spice dusted calamari, the Thai basil fried rice with the crispy duck.
The Thai tea was perfectly balanced not overly sweet and a lovely addition to the meal.
The Spice Dusted Calamari had a very light breading that was seasoned well and skillfully fried. The sweet chili sauce and squeeze of fresh lime over the calamari made the dish sing!!

The Thai Basil fried rice was delightfully smoky and full of flavor. The crispy duck was the star of the meal. Duck is my favorite protein and I’ve had it often. After much thought and comparison, I am ready to call it the best duck I’ve had. It was so moist and the skin was so crispy it shattered. The flawless excision of that duck was the perfect end to my NYC trip. I can’t wait to return here for another duck meal!

Finally, The delightful waitress is a skilled multitasker. She simultaneously took of everyone in the restaurant with care and attention, handled all those coming in for takeout all while making the above mentioned drinks for each table.

Love the place and the decorations. Food was really good. We had their Thai fried rice, drunken noodles and calamari. Everything was really good + great service. You get complementary spring rolls for order of $30ish which was really good too. Also, had their Thai iced tea which was good too if you like sweet.
