I stopped by Vegan Bar (931 W 75th St, Suite 169, Naperville, IL) while visiting from California, and it did not disappoint!
The atmosphere was clean, modern, and inviting — perfect for relaxing or catching up over a delicious plant-based meal. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering super easy.
Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful — you can tell they put real love into their food. The presentation was beautiful, and the portions were just right. Whether you’re vegan or just exploring plant-based options, this spot will definitely impress you.
It’s always a joy to find a vegan restaurant that blends good energy, amazing food, and great service — and Vegan Bar checked every box! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

1st time visiting. I came here to try vegan food& I appreciate how the owner and cashier was informative about each item. I tried jerk and buffalo cauliflower tacos and catfish nuggets, Both were made fresh, full of flavor and I recommend. I will be back to try other items. Thank you.

Such a good vegan place!! It was our first time there and she very politely went over the menu, what their food is made out of, and answered any questions we had. Everything is made fresh so we waited for a bit and when the food came out, it was so worth it!! I had the vegan chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and their homemade vegan cheese dipping sauce and it was so so good. They were so nice and the service was great. Will definitely come back!

Great place to dine. We enjoyed talking to the owner who was a very pleasant guy and patient in helping us order, then quickly prepared and served our meal. Everyone loved the food and the company. The Lavender/Lemonade was delicious! The chicken tenders, fish tacos and sweet potato fries were the best we’ve eaten since our Vegandale experience! We will definitely be back soon!

First some facts:
Atmosphere in the restaurant was not so great. Small place, no one eating inside on the few small tables they have available, fans blowing hot air so no air conditioning, service nonexistent.
Food: decent in my opinion. Although my wife just stopped eating after a couple of bites.
Takes about 20 minutes for preparation so I know they’re making it fresh which is appreciated.
The owner/chef seems like a nice guy who takes pride in his food. But… he didn’t want to say a word at all when he delivered the food even though we were the only ones sitting there in the restaurant and it was pretty dead otherwise.
We had:
Nachos – which has beef, cheese, jalapeños, tomato’s, sour cream.
Avocado jerk chicken lettuce wrap – served with cheese, avocado, cilantro and tomato.
Like I said above, both were decent in my opinion but your mileage may Varian you might not like it at all like my wife did not.
One shining point about the whole experience:
Lavender lemonade! which seems like it’s made on premises. I thought the taste of this lemonade was amazing. I would come just for that next time.

Stopped in for the first time today. They are very new and they’re still in the process setting up, but you’d never know based on what they deliver to their customers. The store is clean and welcoming. Nice atmosphere while you wait for your order.
We ordered a plain creamy iced coffee which was delicious. It was prepared immediately, so I had it while we waited for our food. I was offered a choice of paper or regular straw, which was a nice option.
We also ordered breakfast items: 1) Smashed avocado toast and 2) Strawberries, hazelnut butter, almonds, & chia seeds toast. The portions were generous, fresh, and very tasty. Prices are extremely reasonable & the menu is quite extensive for a small vegan place. The to-go containers were lined with cute paper liners and we were given “real” napkins. The value and experience here can’t be matched. I’m looking forward to many return visits. Wishing Vegan Bar much luck so I can support them for years to come. Please support this small business—it does not disappoint!

We ordered the Nachos, Patty Melt, and 6pc Buffalo Lion’s Mane Mushroom Nuggets. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. It’s a bit of a hike for us, but when in the area again; I would stop again.

The food is amazing and they use very good fresh ingredients and high quality products. I highly recommend. Best vegan waffles ever and the jerk chikin tacos are AMAZING!!! I did not like mushrooms before….now I love them! Drove 1 hr to get here and it was worth it every step of the way and I will be back.

Wonderful experience! I tried the Lions mane mushroom buffalo sandwich 10/10 literally so good everything I expected, we are newly transitioning into the vegan foods and it was so full of flavor. My husband is tough to please when it comes to offering him vegan substitutes on our transition but I must say he won my husband with the seitan Italian beef. He rated that a 10/10 as well judging by our plates afterward. I think that verifies that rating for sure. The last thing we had was the strawberry banana smoothie and oh my when I say just the right amount of both flavors and so refreshing I mean every word. Amazing place and if you’re ever in Naperville area please stop in and show some love to this business. They definitely deserve it!
