New customers here. Wife and I breakfast here a few weeks ago and I raved about how good everything was! The owner walked by while we were eating, and I relayed to him how much we we enjoyed the food and his friendly staff.
Today, on a Sunday afternoon – the wife and I went for a late lunch. After a few bites of our freshly cooked meal, my wife said, “you can forget Cracker Barrel. I’ll be coming back here for good Southern cooking.” Great food, very friendly and helpful staff!

Pop’s is Awesome!!! Great food and great service! I tried egg whites and grits, perfectly seasoned.
I tried the fried artichoke hearts, OMG they were so Delicious. The parmesan cheese added that extra little umph to them.
The Southwest egg rolls are very delicious and cooked perfectly.
Becca has a great attitude and beautiful eyes and a smile!!

Pop’s Cafe is GREAT! The Meat and 2 is a good value. We were served shortly after being seated. The food quickly came out, hot and fresh. It was a great all around experience. Conveniently located directly across from Wallace State College.

We visited the Shrine outside of Hanceville and went looking for a local place close by–and found a gem! A great small town diner with great food and friendly, attentive service. Waitresses were wonderful. Owner checked on us and other customers. Seemed like they have a large group of very loyal local regulars. Food was great. The fried pork chop was exceptionally good. Their deserts looked wonderful, but we were too full to try them–next time! They even have an outdoor patio for when the weather is good. We will definitely be back during any future trips through Hanceville.

My wife and I had breakfast. We both had the vegetable omelet. Excellent ! I also added two pancakes for my plate. They were huge! One would have been enough. The young man cooking behind the grill is a great chef. We plan on returning.
