Love the food here, service is pleasant. We ordered some favs: Pad See Ew, Mixed Appetizers, Chicken wings, and Hor-Mok. The only downfall is we sat at at one of my favorite tables- the circle booths, which had the best dim lights and privacy seating, but the bathroom oder fragrance was strong and it brought out the bathroom smells, rather than just smelling clean. If they could just not use the really strong cheap smell, I bet i would not have smelled the bathroom at all. Unfortunately, the bathroom smell sort of came in waves while we ate. I really love everything else about this place, so just for the fragrance- sensitive people, I would choose a spot closer to the exit door, far from bathrooms.

UPDATE: We decided last minute to go out for dinner on Valentines Day. I called first and they said they had tables available. When we got there we were seated right away. We ordered our usual, Green Curry and Sweet Chili, but instead of Pad Thai we decided to try the Rama Noodles with Peanut Sauce. Unfortunately, the noodles were very large and mostly stuck together in a lump. Probably just because they were so busy. We’ll get either Pad Thai or Pad See Ew next time. Still for a very busy Valentines Day dinner it was excellent. Also, we always order 3 dishes to share and take home half for dinner the next day.
This place has been here for quite a while but I always found it to been too busy. Our favorite place closed so we decided to give Thai Bistro another try. The food is excellent and the portions are mostly good. They have a dish called Sweet Chili that we really like. The atmosphere is very nice. Tastefully decorated.

Terrible experience, won’t be back!
I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken online and was extremely disappointed.
The meat had a distinctly gamey taste that made me question whether it was actually chicken. There was a very thick almost clear, gelatinous membrane directly under the skin that was soggy instead of crispy. Just thinking about that rubbery texture makes me feel sick.
Despite ordering online for pickup, my food wasn’t even started when I arrived. I could hear the server repeatedly asking about my order, but no one seemed to know anything about it. I sat waiting as if I had just walked in and placed the order – no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay.
After finally driving all the way home to Puyallup, I couldn’t even eat the food. The quality was that bad.
I won’t be making that drive again, and I wouldn’t eat here even if I lived in the neighborhood. Absolutely disgusting experience from start to finish.

The food here feels just like being in Thailand, authentic flavors but with American sized portions lol. The place is cozy, and I love the open kitchen, you can smell the food cooking and it makes you even hungrier. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Overall, such a satisfying spot for Thai food in Federal Way.

I’m local, been going to Thai Bistro for 15 years. The best Thai food IMO. To-go orders charges extra for rice. Big menu, flavorful and tasty. I recommend the beef macadamia volcano, lemon grass chicken, phad thai, any of their fried rice, fried siumai, steamed dumplings, all of it! You won’t be disappointed. Cushy seats are a bit worn out and could be replaced with new ones. Atmosphere is cozy and ambiance is on the dimmer side. Large windows and tall ceilings. There are booths and regular seat. They can combine tables to cater to large groups. Staff is friendly. Lots of parking.

Surprisingly, delicious, cuisine!! I was a bit skeptical to dine here because my previous experience with eating Thai food was not pleasant . However, my dining experience at Thai Bistro has completely changed my perception of Thai cuisine . The food was seasoned well and presented with thoughtfulness. I really enjoyed the nice interior, decor, and music played during my visit, too!! Our server was pleasant and attentive. I plan to return here again to try some of the many dishes offered at Thai Bistro.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I loved the ginger essence soup which came out before our lunch specials and the fried spring rolls. Hot (temperature) and delicious with good layers of flavors. Tasted made -to- order fresh. We ordered the Cashew Chicken lunch special which came with a side of rice and Pad Thai. The Cashew Chicken had “cold spots” like it had been warmed up after being refrigerated and just did not get all the areas hot. Definitely didn’t taste like it had been cooked in a high heat wok/skillet. The Pad Thai was pretty decent but also barely warm. The other dish we ordered was the Orange Beef which was tasty but also barely warm and seemed like it had been reheated and didn’t get up to a decent temperature.

Meh , the food is decent…what isnt decent?? They dont include rice with the Panag dish…probably all curries. Who eats curry without rice? They charge 3.00 for a small white rice! RIP OFF ALERT, we eat at the place just 2 minutes west just north of AM/PM. THEY include the rice (like most Thai places)

The food here isn’t consistent. It is good but sometimes you only get 2 pieces of tofu while other times it will be 4 or 5. When you order online you don’t get rice and have to pay for it separately while if you call in the order or order to go there isn’t a charge for the rice. Also on more than one occasion they have forgotten the sauce for my food. Also they do not clean their chicken very well because on many occasions there has still been some bone in the chicken. It is good food but there are some basics that you would expect from any restaurant that are lacking here.

We friends had lunch on a Friday and all ordered 2 star spicy food. We all felt it was more like 3 star, but bearable. My Pad Thai was okay. The chicken seemed precooked and heated at the minute. Not the best I’ve had. The calamari appetizer looked great but was so tough we could hardly chew it, did not finish it. Disappointing.
