There are not enough stars to give Nora’s to truly encapsulate the truly wonderful experience we had tonight and the guaranteed experience you’ll have if you dine here. Faisel (owner), Laura (hostess), and Jordy (server) were all exceptional and beyond accommodating of my husband and I attempting to dine in the rain with our 2 very large dogs. I could not be more grateful for their patience and kindness towards us and our pup.

The food is also outstanding and delicious. We got the twice baked potato, crab dip, carbonara, rigatoni, and lobster ravioli as well as a cinnamon cereal cake for dessert. Comfort food at its finest.

Thank you so much again for everything. We can’t wait for our next trip to Carmel so we can dine here again.

I wish I could give this six stars. We had an absolute wonderful time here. The chicken pot pie was huge and tasted so good. The meatloaf was very tasty. Very juicy, which is good because often times meatloaf can kind of dry out. The atmosphere was awesome. This place is new and you can tell that the owner put a ton of work into it to make it feel very homey, speaking of the owner. He came by every table and greeted every party And made sure that everyone was having a wonderful time. The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were very good especially for Carmel. The service and staff were all super kind. Honestly, I can’t think of anything wrong with this restaurant. Highly highly highly recommend it.

⭐ Restaurant Review: Nora’s at Carmel
Nora’s at Carmel delivers the kind of dining experience that stays with you long after the last bite. It’s not just the food—though the food is extraordinary—it’s the warmth, generosity, and genuine hospitality from the staff that elevates the entire evening. You don’t just feel welcomed here; you feel looked after.

Creamy Spicy Rigatoni
The spicy rigatoni is the kind of dish that makes you pause mid‑conversation. Perfectly al dente pasta coated in a velvety, fiery sauce that balances heat with richness—it’s bold without being overwhelming. Every forkful feels intentional, comforting, and deeply satisfying.

Slow Chuck Roast
Then there’s the slow chuck roast, a masterpiece of patience and technique. The meat practically melts, infused with deep, savory flavors that only hours of slow cooking can achieve. Paired with its accompaniments, it’s the sort of dish that reminds you why slow food is worth the wait. Honestly it reminded me of the my grandma back home.

Hospitality That Feels Personal
What truly sets Nora’s apart is the staff’s presence. They move through the dining room with an ease and sincerity that makes every guest feel like a regular. Whether it’s a thoughtful recommendation, a quick check‑in, or a warm conversation, the hospitality feels heartfelt rather than rehearsed. It transforms a great meal into a memorable night. we cant wait to be back.

P.S: Perfect spot for a date night !!

Nora’s is THE warm and welcoming spot you want to visit in Carmel. I was greeted immediately with a handshake by the owner before being sat; and the service held to that high standard the entire time. Everyone i interacted with was engaged and happy which made the experience that much better. the ambiance outside is wonderful. my server morgan was a delight and gave me the lay of the land with the menu, all her recommendations were great. Get the pot pie and get dessert. it’s comfort food at its best. i will visit nora’s any time i come to carmel!

My wife and I had dinner at Nora’s in Carmel and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had, especially for the price point. The standout was the Meatballs. It was the best meatballs I’ve ever tasted and one of the best single dishes I’ve had anywhere. I licked that bowl clean

The service was excellent as well. Attentive without being intrusive, warm, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is welcoming with the owners coming by to chit chat.

Nora’s is a place we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re in Carmel, this is a must-try.

God bless, Grandma Nora

Stopped by here for lunch on a beautiful Sunday in Carmel. We got lucky and got a table for 2 right outside the patio, as the restaurant was full. Reservations are definitely recommended, especially for a bigger group.

Service was phenomenal. The staff, servers, and host all made you feel like you were a regular. I loved the ambiance of the outdoor and indoor. With the water in the background, birds chirping, sun lighting through, it felt like the perfect sunday.

We ordered the fig flat bread, clam chowder and artichoke, and crab dip. The fig flat bread was really good, with the bread having a nice crunch and chewiness to it. But it was too thick for a flat bread for my preference. And the honey was slathered too generously in some pieces. The clam chowder was quite good. Would’ve doubled up on that. But the crab and artichoke dip was alright. And it was really expensive for what it is.

Total, we paid almost $100 with taxes and tips for 3 dishes and 1 sparkling water.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding!
Nora’s quickly became the highlight of our trip! The food was phenomenal — every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The kale Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, the carbonara rich and creamy, and the fig affair flatbread was truly unforgettable.

What really set Nora’s apart was the exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like family. We loved it so much we returned again during our vacation — and to our surprise, the owner recognized us and offered complimentary wine while we waited for our table. That level of warmth and hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Nora’s. It’s the kind of place that turns a meal into a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Got greeted at the door with a handshake from what seemed like a manager/owner, he checked on us while we were waiting for a table and referred to us by name. Not only with us, but shared laughs and conversation with most tables. Very nice man.

Once seated, our waitress was very outgoing and bubbly, she seemed genuinely excited for the options we chose to eat. We also overheard her with other tables and seemed like an all around great server.

We started with the meatballs which were delicious, the whipped ricotta was to die for! For the main dishes I got the lobster ravioli and my boyfriend got slow roast and biscuits, both very good. The biscuits were soft and not overly dry. The roast was juicy and tender. The lobster ravioli had a pleasing lobster taste and was creamy. For dessert, crème brûlée waffle, not much has to be said, 10/10 would eat again!! and again.. and again.

Nora’s Carmel has excellent service and comfort food. It tastes similar to something I would make at home – and this is a good thing when you’ve been traveling and just want the comfort of a home cooked meal! Recommend the braised beef and the meatballs. Prices are very reasonable especially for this area and atmosphere is casual – jeans and a nice top are the norm.
We came on a night when there were quite a few reservations but the host still managed to squeeze us in within 20 minutes.

Why are there only 5 stars on here?! This place was amazing! The staff were all super friendly, the owner provided complimentary wines while we waited and then pulled out a table to accommodate us even faster. The bread was perfectly crunch on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The clam chowder was perfect. The San Francisco Cioppino was so delish, the bread dipped in it was magnifico! Save room for dessert though because the waffle creme brûlée is the perfect mixture of blam, pow, kabang flavor! New favorite spot in Carmel!
