I was at the vet with my dog down the street. I asked for a recommendation for a local coffee shop. I could smell the baked goods as I opened the door. I ordered a latte and a ham and cheese croissant.
The croissant was fresh and buttery. I also liked that the latte was a little extra hot.
Personally I like my coffee hot,and if your not drinking it at the shop,it tends to get cold by the time you get home.

Stopped here halfway through a planned 10k run for no more than a short coffee break. Ended up buying 4 delicious pastries to take back for my aunt and cousin who I was visiting, run abandoned and uber back! This place was very much on par with those pricey boutique bakeries back in London.

I randomly found this place while looking for breakfast near my work.  Everyone seemed to rave about the strawberry croissant. I was a little hesitant because of the price.   I think it’s like $8?  I figured it’s Friday, and we all deserved a treat.
The place was a little hard to find, but Google Maps got me there.  The parking was a little confusing because it’s situated between businesses, and nothing was clearly marked.
I walked in, and the place wasn’t too big.  They had 2 display cases in an L shape.  It kind of worked in my favor because everything looked so good.   I wanted it all .  I did well and purchased the strawberry croissants, pineapple coconut pastry, and biscotti. only.   I did see a huge double chocolate cookie, but I figured I’d save it for next time.
The gentleman who took my order was super nice and patient with me.  It looked like they had a seating area, maybe for lunch?  I’m not too sure if it was part of the bakery or something else.

1.  Strawberry croissant – This is so pretty. It had the pink stripes that people mentioned.  It was crisp on the outside, but once you bite it, and you hear angels singing,”Aahhh” .  I didn’t know what to expect but I had to take another bite to figure out what I was tasting. It was flaky and the filling,  I knew it was strawberry but it tasted like so much more.   I felt like it was passion fruit or guava with how creamy smooth it was.   This was definitely worth it.   I did not share mine,  I just wanted to savor each bite.

2.  Pineapple coconut pastry – Crispy snap when you bite into it.   You can taste the fresh bits of pineapple and hint of coconut.

3.  Biscotti – This was fresh and you can taste the almond and chocolate.   This goes perfect with coffee or tea.

I can’t wait to come back and try the cheese danish.

I served the little individual cakes for my party last night, and the response I got was “wow!”. We especially liked the three layer mousse, and raspberry cake. The croissants are some of the best in the area. I’ll definitely come back for lunch and sit in their beautiful indoor space sometime soon.

Parking is difficult but the bread tastes very good. I don’t think they have their own parking lot? The price is kind of high. A plain croissant costs more than $6.20 before tax.

Love this place! We used to come here after working out at Peninsula Self Defense.

Oh well. It is in a non descript location with freshly baked goods and wonderful salads. The coffees are nice and strong and everything tastes really awesome.

Cute welcoming entrance with beautiful roses which the gardeners were replacing with hydrangeas. They have a variety of pastries and desserts. The warmed chocolate croissant was soft, flaky and the melted chocolate was delicious. The Cafe Latte tasted too chocolatey and didn’t taste like coffee at all. They serve baguette sandwiches which I didn’t try as it was still early for lunch. They have a large sitting area inside to accommodate the businesses around especially the people working at the big Stanford University medical building across the street. Street parking so kinda difficult unless you park in the big garage across. Gave the 3 star rating because of the coffee. Otherwise, I’m sure the pastries and sandwiches are delicious.

This place was a bit pricey for me. The cake itself tasted good. However, I was a bit upset at the penmanship. For $100+ I expected the lettering to be a bit better. It also felt a bit empty to me, so I decided to fill in the spaces. (The second picture was what I added when I bought some berries). The customer service was good however.
