They need new management or something. Almost an hour wait for a roll with bacon and egg. Manager or owner from what I gathered, closed the kitchen door bc he got overwhelmed with staff telling him anything. (Professional) When I went up to place the order I was told 10min. originally. It’s not like this is the only time they’ve done this either, the last few times I’ve gone they’ve straightup lied about wait times yet still take your money. Either stop taking so many orders or be honest about the wait.

They got my order wrong TWO times. I asked for a lox scallion cream cheese bagel. The first time I just got scallion cream cheese. The second time they put salmon cream cheese. I am a native English speaker and spoke clearly, left no room for confusion, but they still tried to gaslight me into thinking I made it seem confusing. “Lox poppy seed bagel with scallion cream cheese.” Please clean out your ears ☺️

If you are in the Stonybrook/Lake Grove area and you haven’t been here – you absolutely should try it out! I come here often and today I was craving a classic Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich and as always – Nailed it
AMAZING STAFF – they are the nicest people ever, even under stressful situations they are always accommodating and polite! Be patient with them when they are busy, because they are truly wonderful people and they do an incredible job! I’d give them 6 stars if I could!

So the younger workers are trying to make my order and are interrupted by the older staff delegating different tasks. Simple time management, finish one thing at a time.

Says they close at 3pm, but at 2:25pm the doors were locked and employees all cleaning up. In the span of a few minutes I watched myself and like 5 other people all try to enter – I guess they don’t need our business and I’ll go somewhere else ♀️

This family owned business has phenomenal food, and welcomes all of their customers. You get greeted with a smile every time you walk in, and the trip never disappoints. This is my new bagel store I go to now, and it will be for a while. They treat everyone with respect and kindness, and that’s how a business like this should be properly ran.
